The Time Juncture: Season 1 - Episode 1

"Move along, now! If I see you here again I won't control the other guy."

"Listen old man, I ain't got time for your Jekyll and Hyde s**t show... I have serious business to attend to."

"Then take my advice. Take your 'work' and move it out of the alley!"

"I am staying here no matter what you say. Some random dude is going to come here in about 10 minutes, he will then take me to the Time League and you'll never see me again."

"Time League? Yeah, keep dreaming kid. Maybe someday you might become a janitor in that ship."

"What's your problem? Hop off!"

"I'm going back into the lab. I better not see you here when I come back out in 30 minutes."

Mundo limped back in and shut the rusty door behind him. The alley was filthy since it was filled with trash gather for the last two months. The cleanup crew never returned from Noxus since the curse froze the entire city within minutes. The city of Zaun had little to worry about since the curse ended before it could even spread within 50 miles of the city. Regardless of its dirty alleys or even the curse, Zaun had much bigger issues. The city's hero, Jayce, had fallen a long time ago to the evil mad scientist named Viktor. Viktor then claimed the role of ruler and the whole city went to s**t. Every other city had some control over the governing body and corruption within it, not this one.

In the command center of the Time League ship...

"Alright, we have a big mission set up for us. It says here that we must complete it within a week. This is the easiest brief I have ever read."

"True."

looking concerned "Then, what is the problem?"

"We have one week to bring the greatest villain in Piltover down. ONE week to bring down a b**ch that is currently undefeated against the entire police force of Piltover... that's impossible!"

"I know that it may seem really hard to see the light right now since we are the only 'special' people here. But, I have hired a boy who might have a lot of potential, especially when dealing with time."

"Why do we even have other people on this ship? We both know that these men won't survive with the guns we provide them... so what's the point of hiring them?"

"That is besides the point. This boy should arrive in the next 12 minutes at the West entrance. Be there... Oh! And please don't show off your unimpressive magic tricks."

"Yeah, yeah... alright. Hey... Hey Zilean!"

annoyed "What?"

flipping him off "F**k you!"

walking towards the west entrance "You've been a pain in the a** ever since they fixed.. you know that right?"

Zilean walks away. Ryze makes sure that Zilean is out of sight, he then pulls out his new watch. It shows that he has one new holographic video request. Ryze accepts the request and rests the watch on a table in front of him.

"I assume that you have Zilean's trust by now?"

"Yes. It took me three years, but I guess old men have a knack for allowing untrustworthy characters into their lives."

completely ignoring what he just said "You have a new mission. Kill the new member of the Time League... and send me his head as evidence. Failure to do so will result in the death of your homeland and everyone you love."

The video conference ended abruptly. Ryze used to feel frightened when he started to work for Viktor, but these days it was much easier to understand. There was no fear of being spotted by a camera or person since pretty much everyone and everything on the ship belonged to Viktor. Ever since he made the mistake of killing Jayce, the city never trusted him. So, in order to right his wrongs, he created the Time League. However, people still did not trust him, so he sent his own robot army to go after Lissandra (the robots didn't even make it close to Demacia, but people believed him anyway). People were fine with Viktor becoming the ruler since he showed no sign of evil. However, the Time Masters have been engaged in a secret war against him ever since the Time League was established... it was only a matter of time until Zilean would make the decision to make that issue go public.

In the Alley...

starting to feel angry "They are called the freaking Time League and they can manage everything but time.... what a waste!"

The lab door knob started to turn. Ekko looked up in shock, but it was too late. Mundo came out with his butchering knife and chucked it at the wall. It landed 2 inches away from Ekko's face.

"I told you to leave! GET OUT!"

"NO!"

Mundo grabbed the handle of his other knife. Ekko reached for his timewinder, but it was leaning to the left on the wall. There was no time to reach for that, so he performed the one task he knew really well, time jumping. With only seconds to spare, Ekko pulled the Chronobreak and traveled back.

The lab door knob started to turn. Ekko looked up in shock, but this time he phased dived out of the alley and ran towards the Time League ship. Mundo came out and smirked (he knew that kids were too afraid to defy him).

In the launch sector of the Time League ship...

"Sir, we just found unusual timeline activity here!"

"Where? Near alley #42?"

"Actually, that is exactly where it is!"

"Then I must hurry and bring Ekko here. Listen to me soldier, make sure that no one enters the ship while I am away."

"Got it. Also, why are you in such a rush?"

"Because Ekko has the potential to be the strongest member of the Time League. With all the power he has, I have to make sure that he doesn't take advantage of time jumping. If we don't get to him now, his time jumps will ruin the timeline and something really catastrophic will occur."

: Sometimes people make bad decisions and regret it over a long period of time. During my time with the League, I tried not to make any of those mistakes, in fact, I soon aspired to be a hero. However, what happened after that shook the whole world. My powers.... this curse.... of handling time... is something that I will regret for the rest of my life.

All new episodes of this series will come out every week. Since it is a mini-series, it will only have 6 episodes and each one will be posted around 7pm CDT on Monday.
