New Little Legends are coming to the Convergence!

Hey everyone,

In patch 9.16 three new Little Legends and their variants will be available in their own egg series (series three for those counting). They're on PBE or will be soon, so let us know what you think as you get a sense of how they look, move, feel, and most importantly, taunt.

Some totally canon information about the new Little Legends:

The Moontipped Hushtail has come to explore Runeterra. The Hushtail can take on many forms… It can be difficult to spot the Hushtail unless you know to look for its three iconic bushy tails.

The Jade Paddlemar aspires to someday sail the skies with the adult Paddlemars. But he’s just… so sleepy.

The Jeweled Protector is a fierce winged beast. He has gems embedded along his spine that glow with a mysterious power.

A note about VFX:

You may notice that the Series 3 set of Little Legends has a slightly different visual styling at three stars than our previously released sets.

Our original intent with the 3-Star Little Legends was to make them feel special and cool. When making our new set, we wanted to explore a different direction for the VFX that we thought would push it even cooler and sparklier!

If everyone likes the new styling, we’ll go back and update the Series 1 and 2 Little Legends! We updated the Silverwing on PBE, so take a look and let us know what you think!

I want a Hushtail. But I won't get one because you're keeping little legends behind gacha mechanics. No money for you on that one.

I don't mind spending RP on these.

I don't care that you're trying to profit, you're a business and that's how you pay the staff.

What I do care about is gacha mechanics that are predatory and anti consumer.

Until I can buy them with RP directly, I'm not paying for more RP.

I love the hushtail. It's cute and floofy and adorable.

I also will not buy any RP whatsoever to get one. Because for some reason you decided to lock acquiring them behind spending 750 RP to get one, and then you have to buy a Series Three Egg to have a 33.3% chance to even get the species you want, not to mention the 6 different variants within a species.

I understand why you did this: you want the whales who will spend hundreds or thousands on trying to get a super shiny Lost Silverwing. But in the process you made getting them for anyone else prohibitively expensive and entirely gated by RNG.

Please, please reconsider that decision. The gamemode itself is already a crystallized form of RNG; you don't need to make the cute avatars the same.

Would love to get one of those turtles, any one, but hiding it behind a random crate mechanic is bad form. Especially because you guys don't display the actual %s for the chances to get them. I had no idea when I bought the first set that I didn't have the same chance to get ice cream cone Furyhorn as the rest. Just let me spend $5 to get a random turtle.

One thing I always liked about League of Legends over other games with cosmetics, is the ability to just buy what I want with money, no loot box/gacha mechanics. then they added chests and keys, but those were earnable/buyable and they didn't take away the ability to purchase exactly what I want. I wish little legends would have kept that, or at least had the ability to only buy eggs containing the one guy you want, without being diluted down by two other types. I spent 5000 rp on eggs trying for a Lost Silverwing, i didn't even get one, but i got a 2 star rosebloom silverwing and a 2 star hauntling and fuyrhorn. After silverwing my next favorite would be the molediver, but i don't have any of those because their in a separate egg group. At the very least i would like the ability to turn them into "pink" essence (or any other unique color) to buy the one i want.

you say little legends are for us to use to emote through, but how can i do that when u don't let me choose the character i want to emote as. the featherknight/hauntling/furyhorn don't "fit" me at all

Please make little legends available in standard hextech chests, or with some of the event tokens, even if its limited to one of the skins of each variety, some way to get them without RP

It warms my heart to see everyone tearing Riot a new butthole over this. Glad there are some folks around who don't like spending hundreds of dollars on a random lottery system for a small chance at getting what you want.

Adorable, I want them! Little legends are the best part of tft, and one of the reasons my group is obsessed with the game. (You're really catching the adorable animal fans market here.) But it does suck that you can only get them by spending lots of random money. If the eggs were cheaper, or there were another way to get them, it would feel a lot better. Please please please make eggs a reward for playing tft and no more emotes.

At least make there a way to turn off the trails and glows that t3 little legends make. It's not "sparkly and cool"- it's more like eye burning...

I want the Paddlemar :D! I do believe once you roll out new ones, you should make the originals available for BE. That way everyone can have some fun! THAT or just allow us to use our skins in TFT cause' I've only spent like $2k on League and believe every aspect of League should allow me to use content I buy.

Awesome but can you lower the price or make it easier to achieve the pets we actually want? at least have individual eggs for each type of animal, we would still have the random which sub-type of that animal we get, but at least we get the animal we want. they are so expensive to be THAT random, i already bought 7 eggs and only have 1 lvl 3 and it isnt the animal id choose if i had a choice. only reason i havent bought more. so long term youd make more money if you made this process easier/better for the people are interested in achieving pets, because i would have paid maybe a little less for my first pet, but now id want one of the new ones. IOW you make the same amount of money there but i would be happier. so lets go where both parties are getting what they want. i mean ffs i jsut paid 1850 RP for the new pyke skin, but i only paid that because i knew wtf i was getting lol

Please please please, if you're gonna do a random mechanic, can it be that there's a dedicated egg per species, and the randomization is on the subspecies? Like, for example, a dedicated hushtail egg, and when you open it, you can get any subtype of hushtail. PLEASE.

Which... One is the Hushtail and which one is the Jeweled Protector?

Both of them have a jewel on the head and none on the spine. I'm assuming the tiger baby is the Hushtail because it's tail has 3 tips?

But the cat squirrel has a darker appearance for hiding.
