The Tales of the Kindred Act 2: Game Warden Episode 6: Cards Down, Game's Up

(Lamb was dozing off. She had run out of gold to keep playing what seemed like hours ago, so she sat at the table sipping from a through a straw. Wolf was still chewing on the jerky from earlier, whining about the salt level of the snack. T Fate and Thresh were still playing.) : Heh heh heh, not looking so good over there T Fate. That gold pile getting smaller. : Just waitin' for the luck to turn. And it just might have. (Miss Fortune discarded a card and laid down the last card in front of her. A 6 of clubs, a 6 of diamonds, an 8 of clubs, a 10 of clubs, and a King were face up in front of her.) : Right, that's what you said the last 6 hands. I'll raise you eight just to spite that turn of luck. (T Fate hesitated and looked back at his cards.) : Match. And I'm going all-in. (Lamb blew bubbles into her with surprise. Wolf swallowed the jerky and floated up to Lamb.) : What's going on? Is it about to get exciting? I think so Wolf. (Thresh looked back at his cards and then at T Fate, a cold calculating look.) : Well Thresh? : ... ...match. All in. (Thresh shoved his gold pile forward as T Fate did the same.) : Wait, the deck of gold Thresh. : I don't see your soul on the table just yet. : Sure, let me just reach in my pocket and pull out my soul and set it there for you. (Thresh stared at him some more.) You know I stand by my bets. : Still confident. I hope you have that confidence in my lantern. I'm going to enjoy watching that fade away. : Less chat, more action. What's your cards? (Thresh set down his cards, a 6 and an 8) : Full house for Thresh. (T Fate handed his cards to Lamb, who flipped them over: a 7 of clubs and a 9 of clubs.) : I think you know what that means. (Thresh looked at it dumbfounded.) : Straight Flush for T Fate. That's the winning hand. : That's impossible... (Wolf started to growl) : (whispers) Game's over, can I chase him now? (Thresh smashed his fist on his lantern, and a bright flash of light burst from it. Lamb was blinded momentarily, and a pair of gunshots when off in reaction. When their vision recovered, Thresh had barged out of the building.) : Chase Wolf! Chase to your heart's content! He's mine now! (Wolf swiftly shifted forms and rushed out of the building after Thresh. Lamb and Miss Fortune stormed after him. T Fate casually scooped the gold into his coin purse and flipped a gold piece to the hostess before tipping his hat and walking out of the building.)

I find it neat that the Mecha/Project universe has lore to it. Notice Heimerdinger and Ziggs in the Malphite splash? Rumble is visible in the Mecha Aatrox splash, and yordles are all over Mecha One Sion.
