Arcade Boss World, the newest event to hit the client, will be live from 8/10/2017 11:00 PT until 8/24/2017 23:59 PT. Here’s what you need to know: 1) Play missions, 2) Earn tickets from completed missions, and 3) Use tickets to craft event-exclusive loot.

During Arcade Boss World, you can take on daily missions and five new mission lines.

To start, complete the first mission Villains Rule! to unlock the event-exclusive New Level Icon and access to two mission lines: Game Start: Blitzcrank and Game Start: Veigar. Afterward, missions you play require equipping any of these Arcade icons to earn mission rewards:

  • Win five Summoner’s Rift games where your team killed 350 minions
  • Reward: 30 Tickets

  • Win one matchmade game with Veigar on either team
  • Reward: 40 Tickets

  • Reward: 20 Tickets

  • Win three Summoner’s Rift games with five kills or 15 assists

  • Win three PvP Summoner’s Rift games in under 35 minutes each
  • Reward: 40 Tickets

Mission 4

  • Win one matchmade game with Brand on either team
  • Reward: 40 Tickets

Mission 1

  • Kill 200 minions
  • Get 20 kills and/or assists
  • Win two matchmade games
  • Reward: 20 Tickets

Mission 2

  • Win two matchmade games with at least 50 minion kills and eight kills and/or assists
  • Reward: 20 Tickets

Mission 3

  • Get 50 PvP kills and/or assists
  • Win four PvP matchmade games
  • Reward: 40 Tickets

Mission 4

  • Win one matchmade game with Ziggs on either team
  • Reward: 40 Tickets

Mission 1

  • Win three Summoner’s Rift games and earn 10,000 gold
  • Reward: Good Orb

Mission 2

  • Earn 75,000 gold
  • Win three PvP matchmade games
  • Reward: Good Orb

Mission 3

  • Win two Summoner’s Rift games and earn 50,000 gold as a team
  • Reward: Great Orb

Mission 4

  • Win one matchmade game with Malzahar on either team
  • Reward: Mega Orb

Daily Missions


Mission 1

  • Win one matchmade game
  • Reward: 10 Tickets

Completing missions rewards you with tickets and orbs. As part of Arcade Boss World, we also added free tickets with purchases of regular Hextech Chests or bundles during the event. Tickets are like tokens: you craft them into loot rewards. They expire from inventory on 9/11/17 23:59 PT.

I love how almost all of the negative comments are like "how dare this company based on micro transactions make me pay for awesome content that is purely aesthetics based and serves no true in-game function other than looking cool"

I kind of feel like they're just fishing for how much money we're willing to spend on the missions. I was cool with the basically $10 pass for the last one but I don't know about $20, seems a little steep.

On top of that you have 2 really big skin releases (Arcade and Star Guardian) within 2 weeks. I might be more willing to do the pay to play if there was 2 months between rather than 2 weeks.

UPDATE: the Dungeon Pass listing had a glitch and we had to blow on the cartridge to fix it. It should always have been 1495 RP (not 2600), and does not contain 4 great orbs.

(It actually was not a glitch. It was our mistake and we are sorry.)

I'm so happy that most of the first comments to load are positive. Every time they release something they're are tons of people hating it despite that they have no real reason to. Also now we can have an all battle boss team boss with final boss Veigar.

So, Without spending money, you can only get 100 tickets? or will there be other (free) ways to get tickets? A good orb and some blue dust doesn't sound all that worth the effort.

Is winning 3 games on summoners rift even possible in under 40 mins? even if a team surrendered at 15 each game, 3 games is 45 mins. Plus que time and champ select. each game would have to be ten minutes. I think brands start mission is almost impossible if arurf doesn't count
