Birds of a feather carry together. Xayah and Rakan are available now.

To celebrate, we're running a DOUBLE IP WEEKEND from midnight April 21 to 11:59 PM April 23 Pacific time. We've also created two unique summoner icons which will only be unlockable for the first week after the vastayan duo hits the Rift.

Gift of Magic Icon

Unlike other champs, Xayah and Rakan can be gifted using IP between April 19-26! Gift Xayah or Rakan to a friend for just 6300 IP (normally 7800 IP) and unlock an exclusive Summoner Icon for yourself (also works if you gift using RP).

Blazing Feathers Icon

Earn a special summoner icon by bringing Xayah and Rakan together on the Rift. To qualify, play two games as Xayah with Rakan on your team, or as Rakan with Xayah on your team. Any completed normal, ranked, or bot game mode will count (custom games excluded).

NOTE: Both unlockable Summoner Icons can only be earned between 8:00 am April 19 and 11:59 pm April 26 Pacific time. The icons will be granted within two weeks after the promotion ends.

My boyfriend and I have them, he main's adc I main support. Even though its a genderbend, our personalities better match the champ in our role so it still works.

Ok Riot here is how to make a few million....

Bride and groom skins right....tux with tails for him and gown with veil for her to keep the feather wing things....or switch, she kinda wears the pants....

Tango skins

Halloween couples costume(one that's actually good,most are horrible)

Ugly Holiday sweater skin.

Shakespeare skins doesn't have to be R/J but something like that, maybe from Tempest.

Waiter Xayah and Dessert Chef Rakan, grumpy waitress and flamboyant chef, *couples cooking comments.

Classic buddy cop duo, add 80s movie dialog.

Gym Buddy skins, Really want this one. 'Crossfit' Xayah, never shuts up about 'crossfit'. Workout video Rakan, cheers you on to work out but barely breaks a sweat. Duo tp is a pushup contest.

Also add VO for the lines, "Iloveyou/Iknow" and wife wants Rakan to say "As you wish."

Also unrelated but a Grass skirt/Taliyah pool party skin where she rides a surfboard/skimboard and throws seashells/coral.

Riot I release all claim to these ideas, just make it happen.

I love everything about this comment! Maybe for Halloween, they could do Skeleton Bride Xayah and Skeleton Groom Rakan. Have them like mostly bones with their feathers all torn up and ragged looking and change the particle effect for Rakan's charm and make it kind of like a 'fear' animation with little ghosts or something just for that skin. I'd buy it in a second!

And on the Pool Party idea, they should also do a Pool Party Illaoi. Why doesn't that skin already exist for her?! She's like a sea goddess with tentacles...I mean come on, missed opportunity! Her tentacles could be pool noodles or exaggerated cartoony blue octopus tentacles, that ball she holds could be a beach ball. Have her dressed in a one piece bathing suit with Hawaiian patterned swim shorts on with a visor hat on. It's kinda butch, but it works for her.

My husband and I love these champs! He plays Xayah (the girl) and I play Rakan (the boy). It is so much fun to interact more than we normally do in game. Thanks riot!

IF you have all champs excpet the new ones.

GOTO STORE, ACCESSORIES, then do the steps

1700IP purchase 3 on mystery chards.
Reroll into permanent champ.
You will get the champ that you dont own.
repeat for the other champion!

only cost 5100 ip instead of 6300.

Please note! Only works if you have all champs EXCEPT THE NEW CHAMPS.

i get the same thing, i tried over 50 people in my friends list to gift any of them and they all get the same message

"Your friend's gift pool is not large enough to receive a mystery gift."

Riot, hats off to oyu guys, these 2 champs are amazing. Especially Rakan who is going to be my main! Hes the first champ that ive played that i truly felt i could main. Hey everyone, if you haven't received the icon yet don't worry. Like the post said, it could take up to two weeks. In all likelihood it should be within a couple days, but it won't be instantaneous :)
