2015 MSI Mystery Gifting

Riot·May 8, 2015·1 votes·54,748 views

Did you watch the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational? Did you catch that Fnatic got a Baron steal against SKT on May 8th? This action triggered a Mystery Gift opportunity that now doubles your chance to unlock esports team (Fnatic, TPA, SKT, or SSW*), championship, and legendary skins until May 15.

If you’ve wanted to unlock that esports skin, it’s time to try out Mystery Gifting before this opportunity is gone. Don’t forget to send your thanks to Fnatic for unlocking this esports special on Mystery Gifting at the Mid-Season Invitational.

*SSW skins do not become part of this Mystery Gifting opportunity until they are unlocked on May 14.

So are we allowed to Mystery Gift ourselves?

Êh2May 11, 20154 votes

apparently not

Soul of SelesnyaMay 11, 201513 votes

Seriously? That's pretty ridiculous. Not everyone has a smurf account.

CHAMPIONSHIP RIVEN!? RIOT MEMBER PLEASE ANSWER

ninjanoob4May 11, 201514 votes

no just no.......

BuffaIoMay 11, 20151 votes

The answer is no. My skin pool currently has 10 skins available, so I am not eligible to receive a mystery skin. I own Riven, but not CS Riven, so she cannot be obtained my Mystery Gifting.

FTMHukY4PsMay 12, 20151 votes

I have friends who got her via MG

BuffaIoJun 29, 20151 votes

I Absolutely believe that, however they must have gotten her cs skin when she was available for gifting. When I commented, however, there were only 10 skins that were available for me to purchase in the skins tab, and I was unable to receive a mystery skin. Meaning, if cs riven were available to me, I would have been able to receive a mystery gift since my skin pool is actually 11. The ten visible in store plus her.

Great match Fnatic against SKT :P Thank you for the opportunity

VaIhaIlaMay 11, 20156 votes

Does this mean THERE is a chance of getting Championship Riven skin? Or is there going to be 0% chance of getting that skin?

Gh0stCubeMay 11, 201534 votes

0% x 2 = 0%

If this is the case, i would contact RIOT support, not in a random comment section! Also i wouldn't ever recommend giving out the code on a forum. Depending on where you ordered it from, RIOT may or may not be able to help you

ViolentFreakMay 11, 20152 votes

Don't forget, do not to put spaces in between the #'s And you can ask for help from the place you got it from.

God WhiteMay 11, 20153 votes

The way you relayed this message seems very shady. You should have contacted Riot support instead of posting here. Giving out your redeemable code to the public is never a good idea.

LunationsProdigyMay 14, 20151 votes

I looked to see if I could mystery gift myself, it's a no, you can't mystery gift yourself. but, friends can mystery gift you, as you all know.

SKT1 DO NOT HAVE PERFECT teamfight anymore

BatDendeMay 14, 20151 votes

Will this be extended because of the store issues?

BatDendeMay 15, 20151 votes

It is kind of ridiculous to have an event end before people have a chance to participate. The store bug has been around for almost a week and there has been no news from RIOT except that they know it exists.
