#A Corporate Matter Episode: PlayerCorporate's Battlegrounds, Part 3

Out in an open hay field, our remaining Corporates are attempting to run to safety while bullets fly past their heads.

Kayle "EVERYONE, RUN TO THOSE TREES OVER THERE, DON'T STOP!"

♫THERE GOES MY HERO.♫

Nasus "AH! I'VE BEEN HIT!"

♫WATCH HIM AS HE GOES.♫

DrMundo "Just walk it off, don't be such big ba-" "Gets shot in the head."

LeeSin "BOSS, NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I'LL SAVE YOU!"

Kayle "Lee Sin, no! It's suicide."

LeeSin "I CAN STILL SAVE HIM!"

Kayle "You can't, he's gone. We have to go."

LeeSin "I'M SORRY BOSS!"

They make it up the hill to the safety of the tree line.

Nasus "I've been shot, someone get me a damn energy drink!"

Gnar "I've got one right here. But how is this going to-"

Nasus "Grabs energy drink out of Corporate Gnar's hand." "These ones are packed with drugs, they heal bullet wounds." "Chugs energy drink."

Kayle "Well, we are in the zone and our shooters aren't. So they will have to come to us. We should wait here and kill them in the field like they tried to do to us."

Five minutes later:

Gnar "There, I see them! Southwest of our position!"

LeeSin "Yeah, I smell them. Good thing I found this sniper rifle."

Kayle "Oh, give it here, I'll get them."

LeeSin "No, I'm getting revenge. Three shots, three kills. Take this, you midlane feeders!" "Fires three times."

A brief moment of silence and anticipation, then all three targets drop to the ground.

Kayle Gnar Nasus "OOOOOOOOOHHHHHH!!!!!!"

LeeSin "All is now right with this world, let's go."

They begin running towards the center of the safe zone.

Gnar "Did you guys hear that?"

Kayle "It sounded like cannons?"

LeeSin "Well, nothing happened. So let's keep mo-" "Blows up."

Gnar "OH DEAR RITO!"

Explosions begin going off all around them.

Nasus "WHAT THE HELL! ARE WE BEING BOMBED NOW?"

Gnar "WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS?"

Kayle "Over there! Get in that house!"

They run into the bombproof wooden house

Gnar "There's only three of us. Dear Rito. there's only three of us. I can't do this."

Kayle "PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN! We have to do this, for those that we lost."

Gnar "Yeah, yeah. I suppose you're right."

Kayle "You two check down here for any loot. I'll look upstairs."

Nasus "Yes! Found a new vest."

Gnar "Nasus, did you say you needed a scope for your-"

Kayle "WHAT IN THE-"

Riven "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Arcade Riven has killed Corporate Kayle with Scar-L

Riven "I DIDN'T WANT TO, I'M SO SORRY! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO COME IN HERE!"

Nasus "Yeah, you're going to be sorry." "Throws grenade upstairs."

Riven "It's been a good life."

The grenade explodes and Arcade Riven's body goes flying out the window."

Gnar "What is this hell that we have been put in to."

Nasus "It's just the two of us now. And I'll be honest, if I could pick anyone in the world over you. I would, you useless chipmunk. Now let's go, so I can carry us to victory."

They head to the next safe zone.

Nasus "Up ahead, you hear that shooting. I think that's the last two teams."

Gnar "I see them, some in the tree's to the left, others to the right. And the next safe zone needs us to go right between them. With no cover. We are so dead."

Nasus "No we aren't. I'm going to kill them all from behind this tree."

Gnar "I'm not ready to kill anyone. All I have is this dumb Tommy Gun."

Nasus "You just watch my back, I'll do the killing."

Gnar "I'm going to crawl through the grass while they are killing each other. There's a rock in the new safe zone, I'm heading for it." "Starts crawling through no man's land."

Nasus "Wait, Pipsqueak don't leave me out to-" "Gets shot."

Gnar "AHHHHHHH!!!!" "Keeps crawling."

Nasus "I'm not dead, it's safe here. Come back and get me up."

Gnar "No time, I'm not dying to the blue fog!" "Crawls faster."

Nasus "Damn you pipsqueak." "Bleeds out."

♫Well, I don't know why I'm sent here tonight.♫ ♫I got the feeling that something ain't right.♫

Gnar "Bullet's fly overhead, aimed at the people in the trees."

♫I'm so scared in case I get shot in the head.♫ ♫And I'm wondering how I'll get to that rock.♫

Gnar "Keeps crawling, praying to Rito that he makes it."

♫Shots to the left of me, killers to the right.♫ ♫Here I am, stuck in the middle of hell.♫

Gnar "Makes it to the rock."

♫Yes, I'm stuck in the middle of hell.♫

Gnar "Yes, I'm safe. Now I'll just lay here and wait for everyone else to die."

Suddenly, Corporate Gnar hears footsteps on the other side of the rock.

Jhin "RAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! WE WERE DOING SO WELL. NOT A SINGLE PROJECT GOT KILLED! THEN WE RUN INTO YOU BLOOD MOONS AND EVERYTHING GOES WRONG! BUT NOW I'VE KILLED YOU ALL! I AM ALONE BUT I'VE DONE IT!"

Gnar "Please don't notice me."

Jhin "Now if I can only find that last person. I will win. Come out come out wherever you are. Project Jhin wants his prize!"

Gnar "Well, here goes nothing." "Stands up." "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" "Closes eyes and unloads a whole clip in Project Jhin's direction."

item 3194 "WINNER WINNNER CHICKEN DINNER!"

Gnar "Opens eyes." "Wait, I did it? I WON!"

item 3194 "Yep, everyone but you is dead."

Gnar "YEAH! What is my prize?"

item 3194 "Chicken Dinner, come on man, I just said this."

Gnar "Wait, like an actual chicken dinner?"

item 3194 "Yeah, it's right here. What were you expecting."

Gnar "I thought it was a metaphor for something. What with the horrors you have to go through to win this thing. And how hard it is. I thought there would at least be a large sum of cash at the end. Not something you can get at any store for ten bucks. I mean, all my friends died for this."

item 3194 "Well fine, if you don't want it I'll take. Our chef worked very hard on it."

Gnar "No, I still want it. It just seemed a little underwhelming, that's all."

item 3194 "Here you go, you ingrate. And if you think we're being cheap, we're not. It takes a lot of money to put all the people that were killed here back together. Especially when they die like the Corporate Lee Sin guy. We have to hire ten people just to find all his pieces."

Gnar "Wait, you are going to bring everyone back to life?"

item 3194 "Yeah, couldn't really keep the show going if we killed all the potential viewers and contestants off. Well, I hope you will watch next season. When you next wake up, it should be back in your office. Have a nice life."

Gnar "Wake up?" "Chip in brain knocks Corporate Gnar out."
