In case you didn't listen to the podcast, which explains the origin of his name, he called himself Gypsylord because of his childhood dog, gypsy, and at the time he needed the screen name he was reading fantasy novels with lots of lords and ladys. And because Gypsy is only 5 letters and he needed at least 6 he added lord to it.

In other words, I had nothing to do with Romainia or Romainian's, and therefor, is not racist.

To be fair, just because somebody doesn't know what a slur means doesn't make it any less unfortunate, and some Roma people do consider it a slur considering the immense amounts of oppression they face in Europe, historically and today.

That doesn't mean it's okay to insult the dude (gyspylord) and it can be a muddled subject when other Roma people think that the word is fine and the ones that live in America are few and generally ignored.

I get that Jhin is an artist but, everything he does is in sets of 4. 4 is not a perfect number. 6 is a perfect number. So if you want perfection change all his abilities to 3. 3 passive proc, 3 jump Q, 3 shot R etc. :) But then again he is a psychopath.

Current "perfect" is boring. He was to find and create new arts, new perfects. That he why he is creating the perfect number of 4.

Others have noted that he fires his gun in 4/4 time. Which is used often in music and has many uses for different types of songs. =P

EDIT: ENOUGH WITH THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE OTHER TIME MEASUREMENTS! PLEASE! I was just saying what someone who had a PBE account noticed.

Maybe I'm forgetting my music theory, but he fires four shots... of course it is 4/4 time. 4/4 time doesn't really dictate tempo which would have been a far more massive coincidence.

That he fires 4 shots and that each shot counts as one quarter note is actually pretty uninteresting.

Moreover, if you add in the reload period, you now have to account for rest periods so the time signature is actually probably closer to 5/4.

Not to mention, many powerful things are found in groups of fours. The seasons, the cardinal directions, the most well-known elements (fire, water, earth, air). Four is a powerful number.

This is probably a coincidence, but 4 in Chinese language have the same pronuntiation as death, which leads to a belief that number 4 should not be used in names, building floors, etc because saying it is like saying death. Jhin, as a psychopath killer, apparently likes 4 that is said the same way as death in Chinese, and when is Jhin released? Close to Lunar Revel or Chinese New Year.

I LOVE the detail (this podcast is about Jhin, mainly.. while the last one was about Darshan)put into these podcasts. It's awesome to hear, from an experienced person, how a champion so unique as Jhin was created. Keep it up guys! And, i know this sounds lazy on my part.. however, i would really, really like to have the "highlights" from these podcasts posted somewhere so if myself or someone else misses 1 thing or 2 things, we could just click on a button that says, "Missed Episode X or Y? Click here and check out the highlights for that specific episode!"

Riot, that would be awesome.

Nonetheless, these podcasts are awesome. A bit long IMO (40ish minutes would be easier to get through when you juggle work and school, while having young children.

That's awesome feedback. We haven't started to consciously shoot for episode lengths since we like to let conversations naturally flow as much as possible, but we'll keep your words in mind!
