The four houses strategized, rallied, misdirected, and outplayed until the end, but only one can claim the throne as the winner of the Mid-Season Trials.

4th: Faceless - 60

As a reminder, everyone in the winning house receives a permanent golden house emote. Players in that house will retain their house spawn animations for a period of time after the event.

[sg-kiko] Everyone thought we'd lose and that the United was a horrible house, but just like when JK Rowling's daughter said "I think we should all want to be Hufflepuff" in this case The United. It made me think and thinking I did... I thought about how the United was very Hufflepuff like. Which made me very happy since I _was sorted into Hufflepuff~ I am so proud of all of our other houses here in League~! We all did so great! I am so proud of our house winning though, because sometimes it can feel like we aren't truly seen for everything we do. We all in The United fall into a lane or jungle. Some of us support others adc, some top, mid and maybe even jungle~ I hope that this doesn't make all other houses feel bad because if this trail comes again I want all of use to fight just as hard if not harder~! We all deserve to win~ Have fun and make new friends along the way~

I don't understand how this was scored. In the future, Riot, please make a special queue in which the different houses can all face off. That would really be a cool way to face off and earn the title, rather than just getting points for missions.

What would a council vs warband draft game look like? I'd like to see that.

The "narrative" for the longest time, has been, in the beginning, win lane win game. Followed by "I carry my trash teammates/I am the team". This is prevalent in many games with taxing, stealing camps, stealing kills, and so on.

However this is far from the truth in solo queue(once you can consistently climb most tiers). It's no coincidence that the majority of higher tier players recognize that it is a team game, that they aren't the baddest ones out there, and that the only way to climb is through humility and understanding that there is always room for growth.

That is the ideal mindset.

It is also no coincidence that the players with the "1v9" mindset, biggest ego problems, or are hardstuck are often times plat/high gold. Ofcourse some players can climb higher with such a flawed mentality, but it's an idealism that never criticizes itself. Players with the god complex often plateau in skill.

edit also the "narrative" is set by the players/community. In an ideal or perfect world (one where everyone has a player-growth oriented mindset) Council/United would win/tie/or be close. And the other two are dead last. So in that sense, things went how they should have.
