People ban new/reworked champions not just because they might be op, but they don't want to deal with their own team first timing them or learning how to handle them as an enemy, especially in ranked.

Grey Warwick was only ever available for the refer-a-friend system, which they took out because of all the loopholes. That's never coming back. Beyond that, Riot has expressed multiple times that Urfwick was a one time skin and that it will never be released again for purchase or through mystery gifting/hextech chests.

Yeah, I agree. He needed this update. UPDATE. Not being removed from the game. Wouldn't it be great if they only updated champions, rather than removing them outright? Lol.

No. That wasn't sarcasm. The rework wasn't even that drastic. He still maintains pretty much every element of his old kit, except they're just implemented in more interactive ways. They did a good job with him. I just wish they could have given Yorick, Sion, and Poppy the same treatment. Maybe a little bit different, but still, not outright removing them. I love the new Warwick. I've actually been playing quite a lot of him as of recent.

You've literally got it backwards. He saying WW's update/rework was a great one since it kept Warwick at his core theme and gameplay. Riot has a habit of deleting champions for new ones with the same name since Riot doesn't like what it saw on a graph.

Nah dude. His kit is mostly intact except for the new ult. Same premise on playing him. Mostly a visual update.

What a removal looks like is what they did with Yorick where his entire kit and visuals were changed.

I do think he should be disabled for ranked games till they do the first round of tweaks to him, just so players have a chance to use/play against him enough to know what to do

ww was such a high depth champion before the rework! I was a ww otp and mastered all of his high skill mechanics. He is a really complex champion, and rito ruined it!

Sooooooooooo glad they didn't Yorick him and just completely change him. I feel like this really worked out well, he's still recognizably the same champ with (imo) a much more fun game now, Warwick was always really boring to me to play, but kinda lovin him now, tho I am complete trash in the jungle. Top lane WW may be incoming o^o
