The Dead Pool may be sitting at the bottom of the sea, but not all of its treasure is lost. During the final week of Bilgewater: Burning Tides, Mystery Skins and Mystery Chests are back in the store!

Here’s the twist: During Bilgewater: Burning Tides, for every six mystery items you purchase for yourself or friends, you’ll receive a free Mystery Skin after the event ends!

Mystery Chest - 790 RP

Mystery Skin - 490 RP

Mystery Chests cost 790 RP, guaranteeing an unowned skin worth 975 RP or more.

Mystery Skins cost 490 RP, guaranteeing an unowned skin worth 520 RP or more.

You have until 02:00 PDT on August 10 to earn bonus Mystery Skins, so get ahold of one before they sail away.

Mystery Chest and Skin Special Promotion FAQ

When will I receive my bonus Mystery Skins?

You’ll receive them within a week of the event ending.
Which items count towards my buy six?

Any currently available Mystery item purchased between now and the end of the event will count. These include Mystery Skins, Mystery Chests, Mystery Skin Gifts, Mystery Chest Gifts, and Mystery Champion Gifts. Mystery Gifts sent from the post game lobby also count.
How can I track how many I’ve purchased?

In the Purchases tab of the store, you can view both your purchase history and your gifting history.
When do the Mystery items I purchase count towards this promotion?

Any Mystery items purchased between now and 02:00 PDT on August 10 will count.
Can I get more than one free this way if I buy 12 or more?

For every six Mystery items you purchase, you’ll get one free Mystery skin. So if you buy six, you’ll get one free. If you buy 12, you’ll get two free. And so on.
Even if I purchase six Mystery Chests or Mystery Champion Gifts, do I still get a Mystery Skin for my bonus?

Regardless of which types of Mystery items you purchase, you’ll receive a Mystery Skin for your bonus.
What happens if I own every skin at the end of the event, but I’ve earned bonus Mystery Skins?

If you’re ineligible for a Mystery Skin, we’ll give you a Mystery Champion instead. If you’re ineligible for Mystery Champions as well, we’ll give you 490 RP, the full price of a Mystery Skin.

Bought five mystery skins and got Muse Sona, Silent Night Sona, Guqin Sona, Arcade Sona and Weather Forcast Janna. Is that a sign telling me that I should main support especially Sona? :|

And give me DJ Sona if that's the case!

EndlessSorcererAug 2, 20153 votes

I feel you. I got Arcade Sona, Blackthorn Morgana, Bloodstone Taric, and El Tigre Braum.

I also got Battlecast Skarner, so I hope his rework turns out alright.

RoromiyakoAug 2, 20153 votes

I know I actually don't mind since I do play Sona but I wished I have gotten some skins for my other champions.

Either way I guess it's not a bad deal considering they worth more than what I spent on them. If that will make you feel a little better. :)

EndlessSorcererAug 3, 20154 votes

Oh, I'm not disappointed. I enjoy playing Morgana and Taric (and those are my favourite skins for them) and I like Arcade Sona even if I don't play her. Battlecast Alpha Skarner was a lucky gift; I might not play him atm, but that may change after the rework and it's a great skin.

The only one I'm kind of disappointed about is El Tigre Braum since I already own Dragon Slayer Braum, but it's still a nice skin for a champion I enjoy.

I got hextech Janna and Bloodstone Taric. From 2 of the mystery skins. I'm so pissed. Been saving that RP for 2 weeks cause i knew there would be mystery skins. Why riot why? Those champs I barely have played and I don't even like the support role! TARIC REMEBER THAT TARIC!

what a cash grab

Starcall CaseyAug 2, 201512 votes

Guys. They're giving players a bonus if you purchase 6-12-18-etc mystery gifts. They never offered a bonus before this, it's just an extra that you can get. It's anything but a cash grab. Riot is being more generous then ever before with this event. This is a very kind bonus if you do give that much to friends or yourself, and if you don't gift 6+ then whatever, you still get what you purchased anyways. This is a good way to give back to those who gift a lot or are planning on gifting soon. Thank you! :D

thats annoying man, me and my bro bought loads of RP a few days ago and went mad with mysterys and now this comes out? pathetic

tanjo3Aug 2, 201519 votes

Instead of randomly buying mystery skins, wait until Riot announces promotions like these to buy them.

Sohail316Aug 2, 20158 votes

yes because I have the power to see the future dont I? Usually at the end of events they say thanks for participating not more cash grabbing

Lumina FlowlightAug 2, 20157 votes

exactly, I just spent my RP a few days ago too. -_- they should announce this shit @ the beginning of the event. not during the event, especially when so many ppl already bought RP for the new skins that came out... would have saved some more if I knew this was gonna happen beforehand.

OmgimapencilAug 2, 201510 votes

They should make it retroactive. Any Mystery Skins bought in the last month or so will apply.

CheyannaAug 11, 20159 votes

Anyone else not get their free mystery skin?

RazielTheLost1Aug 14, 20154 votes

Do they really need a daily purchase limit? Are they trying not to take my money. >.<

BergkAug 13, 20156 votes

lol I bought 30 mystery items, and I'm still waiting on my 5 freebies. I know the FAQ said it could take up to a week, but I'm just impatient lol! I've login to my account like 10 times a day since the event ended to see if I got my freebies yet! I'm so excited, its like waiting for christmas morning only you have no idea when that will actually come (just within a week) lol!

tRolling oTToAug 17, 20156 votes

18 mysteries, no rewards yet

shark musicAug 3, 20155 votes

I'm impressed that "What happens if I own every skin at the end of the event..." comes up often enough that it's considered a Frequently Asked Question. lol

I mean I have quite a collection going, but damn.

PixTronAug 16, 20155 votes

I bought 13 Mystery Skins, and I haven't received any mystery skins yet, and it's nearly been a week.

GIVE ME 'EM ALREADY!

Forhonor321Aug 16, 20155 votes

Its almost been a week and I've still not received my bonus skins. Why is this taking so long?! This is just getting ridiculous! Nearly everyone has not received their bonus skins yet and a week has almost passed! I feel like I'm getting ripped off!

nrichards98Aug 17, 20155 votes

Anyone else only get one bonus skin after buying 12 or more mystery chests?

aaalucilleAug 2, 20154 votes

Same I've got 2 outa 3 too! I got sultan gp and a panth skin!

BlooDRunKAug 2, 20152 votes

No point at all for buying skin in this game , you can get reported for no reason at all and get a 2 weeks ban. Keep your skin son , ill keep my money ty.

PhD GamingAug 2, 20158 votes

I don't know about you, but in the 2,000+ games of League that I've played, I have yet to get reported often enough to get banned. Their system works by analyzing frequent reports, not an individual one. If you have been banned by the system, you might want to look into why. Maybe you rage at your team-mates too often, or maybe you dc every other game. In any case, almost all bans have a decent reason behind them, and I doubt yours was or is a special exception.

AlscendalAug 3, 20152 votes

I got a Warring Kingdoms JarvanIV ...I don't even PLAY JUNGLE!

lennzyAug 3, 20155 votes

then why do you have him?

fkev91SYmFAug 17, 20152 votes

If it ended on 8/10 @2AM PDT then there's about 4 hours left until a week passes.

1mNiCkAug 17, 20151 votes

if we didnt get it in today, that means~~~~you know~~

fkev91SYmFAug 17, 20154 votes

News articles.

I'm still new to League but I don't think Riot would run scams. I'm guessing either something went wrong with the auto-distribution, it's set to distribute exactly a week from the event, or they forgot.
