Season 2019 starts now! The new and improved Ranked is live - check out what’s changed with the new system, including the three-split season, new rewards and ways to show off your rank, and a preview of position rank.

Big things are happening in 2019. Click here for daily videos and the first details on what’s coming next for champions, skins, events, game modes, esports, and the extended League Universe.

Finally, there’s a slew of missions available right now to kick off your season:


Star Your Season

  • Play a 5v5 PvP matchmade game to unlock the Season 2019 Commemorative Icon.
 Completing this unlocks:
Pursuit
(matchmade only)
  • Play 3 games of Ranked Summoner’s Rift, OR
  • Win 3 games in any matchmade queue
 Reward: 400 BE
Mastery
(PvP matchmade only)
  • Deal 120,000 damage to enemy champions, OR
  • Heal 30,000 damage
 Reward: 400 BE
Unity
(PvP matchmade only)
  • Play 2 games with a pre-made team of any size, OR
  • Win 3 games of SR in under 27 minutes
 Reward: 400 BE

Completing each of these unlocks another mission:


Glory
(PvP matchmade only)
  • Get 100 kills or assists
 Reward: 600 BE
Revenge
(PvP matchmade only)
  • Win a game where your team gets first blood, AND
  • Win a game where your team gets first tower
 Reward: 600 BE
Thrill
(matchmade only)
  • As a team, defeat the Baron, AND
  • As a team, kill 2 Dragons in the same game
 Reward: 600 BE

Completing all of these unlocks the Season 2019 Commemorative Icon (Prestige Edition).


All missions are available starting with Patch 9.2 through 23:59 PT February 4. See you on the Rift!

Rewards aren't anything special, but I love having missions to do when playing League none the less. Gives me a bit more of a reason to actually be playing League other then to just play League.

Okay my biggest question is about how the Armor and Split points are going to work. Because it is said that you can use your points to upgrade your armor. But i want to know where will these points be shown and when will you allow us to spend these points. Will you guys be making us wait till the end of the splits or will you guys be allowing us to upgrade them at anytime. Because i feel as a player if you make us wait till the end of the splits it will put a massive bummer on the whole armor as a whole. Because when i first saw the armor i thought wow it looks amazing yet when it came out it was kind of a let down to me. Seeing it in the pictures with the swords and spiked helmets looking amazing but instead we got some very basic helmets with nothing. So I was hoping it would show up in our loot area so we can watch out points go up. So that when we see we are getting close it gives us even more incentive to climb and play.

Well i just looked at ranked and it shows how u get it but if u max out your points will u let us start on the next split or no? Because i am trying to max out my armor ASAP. Bc at the moment im flying though and u get about 10 points per win anyway.So ill be able to max it out fast

Lol seriously. Riot is a money hungry company and they have shown that to me now. THEY DO NOT care about the playerbase. They do not care how champions work since they are dumb. Akali can go top and destroy any toplaner. And the most tilting part is that when i was lpaying my ranked games. FIRST FUCKING GAME. I GET AUTOFILLED TOP. SECOND GAME??? HUH AUTOFILLED TOP. Why does the beginning Season icon require a 5v5 game instead of just a PvP game? That specifically excludes Twisted Treeline, despite it being ranked as well.

The Link to this page on the Big League of Legends Homepage adds and extra 0 to the URL at the end, and doesnt actually link to anything because of that. please fix.
