Remembering last played spec in Team Builder temporarily disabled

We are currently investigating an issue in which the "Find Group" button does not load correctly for some players in the Team Builder Solo flow.

For the time being we are disabling the Last Played Spec feature which seems to solve the problem while we work on a fix.

**Update 1/16: **

We have decided to leave Last Played Spec disabled until 5.2 at which point we will have the issue fixed.

In addition to this, we have re-factored the skin selection system to ensure that skins you select in other queues are also selected in Team Builder and vice versa. This will also solve the issue that sometimes causes you to enter game with the default skin even though another skin appeared to be selected. These changes are currently in testing and are on schedule for 5.2

It's weird. A toggle would be nice. (as suggested by a couple people elsewhere in the thread)

Actually, it should be a manual "opt-in" feature. What that means is a button saying "Load Last Spec/Config" and only that will trigger it.

Please let this happen, I SO hate that feature. A compromise feature would work too, such as the ability to ban it from a lobby, or making "remembering" require hitting a button that says "use my last configuration".

I have to ask... Why? Why do you hate the remember feature? If you want a new champion, you simply select the icon and choose a new champion. It's the exact same process as if it was disabled, only if you repeat your champion, it's one LESS step. I'm not understanding why I'm a minority for this. Please elaborate so myself (and Riot) can understand the reasons behind this... I'm sure they'd love to know more than me. If there's one thing I can't stand it's people saying "I HATE THIS FEATURE" but giving no insight into why.

Because it's so incredibly buggy. Wrong runes, wrong masteries, wrong summoners, and wrong skins. Happens all the time. Sometimes it doesn't even load with your last played spec, and will continually load the same one over and over. So in the end it's rather pointless and causes more problems than it "solves".

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But it is broken, and I want them to fix it. Your logic is "If it's broken, throw it away." No, fix it. If we threw away everything that was buggy, we wouldn't have this game or most of its champs. If something is broken, you fix it. If it isn't broken, you can still improve it though. I'm not understanding any of your logic lol.

Sorry, I'm not on the boards much and didn't realize someone had responded to one of my posts(because I'm not used to where the notification is).

Anyway, the reason I disliked that feature is that it'd cause confusion or discontent in a teambuilder game literally every time I opened a lobby. Of my 5-man team, at least 1--2 people were wanting to not play what they played previously, but the next guy would see the pick and pick around it, and then they'd wind up stuck doing something they didn't want to do or having to make everyone shuffle.

For something that was supposed to be a feature, it ended up being an overwhelmingly negative experience(by proportion, not magnitude, since the magnitude of the change wasn't really that high regardless).

See that I understand. In solo queue it's incredibly useful, especially when you're practicing a champion you're rusty on (or new to). But I didn't know it was on party team builder too... I can see how that could be confusing.

This. I ended up with the same champ+role twice in a row, but didn't realize this bug existed. Was disappointed to not be wearing my skin in 2nd match.

Hey, while you're looking at this feature, any chance of the following enhancement? Change "Last Played" to "Last Selected."

Say I queue up for Veigar mid and play a game. Now I requeue, but this time as Orianna mid. Partway through queue, a friend messages me and asks to play together. I leave the queue and create my own team.

Expected result: I enter the lobby as Orianna mid. Actual result: I enter the lobby as Veigar mid.

This should be a togglable option. Because personally I don't like team builder remembering what I last played. I'd much rather have it off.

I'll be honest, I really do not enjoy the "last played" feature for Team Builder as then I have to go and change EVERYTHING instead of just going through the normal process. I like the idea of option to load last played if you wanted to instead of forcing it.
