(Thresh was running as quickly as he could. His lantern was floating ahead of him, its ghastly light illuminating his way and forcing the lesser spirits of the island to part before him. He could hear the swift footsteps of Wolf behind him, getting closer and closer.) : Crap, knew I should've taken these souls to Mordekaiser before heading for the casino. Maybe I should let Lamb kill me and take my soul to the afterlife. Certainly better than what Mordekaiser will do to me... : Where you hiding Thresh? Come out come out wherever you are! (Hearing Wolf getting closer, Thresh raised up The Box and took off running again. He smiled with malice after hearing Wolf yip after hitting a wall, but then an arrow pierced his shin. He tumbled over, his lantern falling and then rolling away from him.) : Crap crap crap crap, must get the lantern... (However, he could hear Wolf's footsteps getting dangerously closer. Pulling his chain to him, he threw his hook toward a tall withered tree. The hook wrapped around a tall branch and Thresh smiled as he prepared to pull himself up.) : Going somewhere? (Wolf lunged at Thresh, and yanked him down from his chains with a vicious bite. Thresh looked around him, anywhere but at the wolf. His chains were hanging from the tree, out of reach and useless. His lantern... That's when he noticed his lantern was missing.) : Any last words? Make it fast. : Where's the lantern? (Wolf's fangs shone brillant gold before he reached down with a harsh bite at Thresh's throat. Unlife faded quickly for Thresh. He reached for his chains one last time before he felt his consciousness fade away.) : What kind of last words was that? ... ...it was a very good question. Where IS the lantern? : Remind me to pick Lamb's arrow when you two come to claim me. That was vicious Wolf. : Where's T Fate? (Wolf shifted to his floating head form, his legs tired from the chase.) : He got held up in the casino and is still dealing with the manager. They probably think he cheated. : How are you going to return to Bilgewater? : I'll head back and tell them he doesn't cheat and get him out of his current situation. : Okay then. (Wolf quickly floated over and took another deep whiff of Miss Fortune's perfume.) Bye bye pretty perfume smell. (Miss Fortune blew Wolf a kiss before starting the walk back to the casino.) : C'mon Wolf, we've got to find that lantern now. (Wolf floated around, sniffing for a scent.) : I found a scent. Follow it Wolf!
