The 2016 ranked season is over. Congrats to everyone who hit their ranked goals this season. For those who fell just short, there’s always next year. With the return of solo/duo and the introduction of flex ranked, among other changes coming in the new season, 2017 will be full of all new challenges to master on your way to the top.

Over the next week, we'll start distributing the rewards you earned, and you should see your shiny new borders, icons, as well as the new skins (if you earned them) soon.

carrying is the same thing as boosing if your trying to get another account to a rank they didnt get on their own

Its not though lol its not again riots terms or anything its called duo queing which is completely legal a division ahead meaning g1/s1 but not g1/s2 sure plenty of people get "boosted" up this way. Its a completely fair part of the game though to duo que with friends.

I didn't reach my goals this year because of some time-consuming medical treatments, but I'm super hyped for this season and I'm looking forward to new horizons!

played my provisionals the second i hit level 30, got placed into bronze 1, barely played any rank until yesterday, and hit silver 5 in one day just for le border

Fuck no I didn't reach my goal. Here's why!

The ranked scoring system is garbage! No Matter how well I play. I always have 3-4 shitty kids with no clue how to play! You can't help these kids because no matter how nice you are about trying to help them, they automatically get pissed and tilt! What does Riot do about this. It shortens the time it takes to get to level 30 by half so now the game is FLOODED with even shittier kids!
Every other game has an AFK, rager, INT feeder or some foreign kid that DC's every 5 seconds because he has a garbage computer.
All of you scrubs that are going to type 'well your just bad, if you were good you would carry yourself out like I did" Except be honest, you didn't carry shit but rather got carried out if at all!
I could go on for several more reason but that's going to have to wait, i have to go to work. Plus I have to vote for Hilary!!!!!!!

Statistically speaking, you have an advantage by having more "shitty level 30 kids" in the ranked system. That is, unless you are one yourself. Think of it this way; you have 4 teammates, and the enemy team has 5. That creates a larger chance for the ENEMY team to have "shitty level 30s" over your team, thanks to the extra open position. I mean, you could be at a constant disadvantage if you permanently fill the role of shitty level 30 yourself, but who knows? :)

Congratulations on ranking up a smurf, you're part of the reason that climbing out of low elo is so difficult. One of my favorite things to do is watching the smurf on the enemy team go 20/0 and completely ruin any chance of my team winning purely based on his existence.

Was Silver II last season, got put Silver IV this season, climbed back to Silver II

And then I started having computer issues like the day of and day before ranked ended so I couldn't play anymore riperonis me

But I didn't go down in rank so I guess that's good?

And, honestly, that's what matters. Computer issues aside, being able to climb right back to where you were is a good sign; it means you didn't do it on luck, you did it on skill.

Well for starters, stop playing every single Champion under the sun and focus on a handful and master them if you want to climb. Secondly it's not your team's fault you didn't make Gold. Have to focus entirely on your own play.

But the feeders, assuming you aren't the one in your game, will be on the other team too. It's a numbers game. Win more than you lose and you'll climb.
