RiotRiot Whist128 votesActually, Mecha skins are a throw to all that is mecha. Transformers was a huge inspiration for the animation side of the skins being that they transform in their recalls. I haven't seen any of the movies past the first one, I just really like transformers.
Pacific Rim side is mainly from our splash team's work IMO.
The release times in conjunction with other big media is coincidence as far as I'm aware, though skin ideation I'm sure is easily swayed by upcoming movies/games since they're on our minds.
