It isn't pay to mastery. The fact you need champ shards is supposed to make it take longer to get. The addition of the 1700 IP champ shard tokens should make it easier for people who don't want to buy RP. -Rito Mucho

Well i just read patch 6.11 and there is no mention of that 1700 IP champ shard. And even if there is i heard that's it's a random shard. So have fun spamming that 1700 IP untill you get the shards you want.

You can break them down. That's the main use for them. And why complain about it like that? 1700 x 3 = 5100. They are discounting new champions by more than 1000 through this method. meaning people without the need for IP anymore can focus on mastery. It's a much better system than NOT having IP random shards in many ways. 5100 rp for either a new champion or a rank up in mastery. And since you're trying to get an S-/S/S+ for the rank up, you're likely spamming your champ anyways. So it's extremely likely you get to rank up once you get the IP. This is what Riot initially wanted, a balance between skill AND dedication. But they couldn't release the random shard yet because they couldn't find a balance between mastery and getting champions through the shard.

Instead of being stuck forever lv 5 with over 5m champ exp because of blue essence????? And don't come me with "you can soon in 999 years but champ shards with ip".

@Zac x Me Yes, but they are placing a feature that LETS you get blue essence for IP. They didn't place it into effect yet because they were trying to get a balance between mastery, using the tokens for new champs and progression. It should normally take you 10200 IP to get the blue essence needed for Level 7. Which is a ton of dedication.

While these are rendered exceptionally, I'm not really fond of this trend of having them all look like fantasy selfies, basically. Like Trist's are really just massive close-ups, and these are along the same lines. The maid one is okay, but idk, the rest are painfully posed and just off-putting. Also, the Halloween one's pose just looks like a rehash of Snow Sivir/Weatherwoman Janna. It'd be nice if they were more creative than that.

Stop bringing fucking legacy skins back in packs and shit. I have owned leopard, bewitching, and snow bunny nidalee since they came out. I owned all the team skins since the came out as well as all the championship skins. You are making these skins not legacy anymore if they come out every fucking chance they get. Are you guys going to refund me a legacy cost? I doubt it. For every legacy skins you bring back you should refund us origional people money for buying them! Its not legacy if you bring them back. Make them so they are really legacy and dont come back anymore eh? You are making these skins non-rare and non-unique. Might as well make trading skins a thing.

What a childish response. Why do you care if other people have the skins? They're going to have to pay for them just like you did. It's not the end of the world that someone else besides you is able to get these skins. If it bothers you that badly, just quit playing.

Its not just that, the main point isn't that their " bringing it back " their bringing it back with better quality. Those legacy skins looked horrid, and the drawings were terrible. They needed to be updated, and riot has only responded to many of us who have begged them to fix that quality of the splash art. They were cringe worthy in comparison to the new art now.
