Thank God, someone with common sense. I haven't experienced URF, but I want to and I know I will get to multiple times this year (Hear that everyone? You're getting it anyway so please shut up.), so for now I'm sitting back and enjoying a creative, original April Fools' joke instead of the same shit that has happened for years. I'm just glad Riot had the bravery to move away from the same thing, and I hope this doesn't discourage them.

Look at it in their point of view, everyone has something they like and make it a norm, to them urf was what they looked forward to for April fools, but when something they like isn't there of course they are gonna complain about it and it's the first thing people do when something goes wrong, everyone has freedom of speech so telling them to stop whining isn't gonna work because they know they can say what they want because of this. They obviously really enjoyed urf, and they including you also had to wait quite a while for it to come back but since they waited so long they don't find it fair that they have to wait much longer which of course will make them mad.

Not to be rude, as I want URF as much as the rest of you, but be patient. It doesn't HAVE to be on April 1st as it steals creativity from what Riot CAN do. April 1st is supposed to be fun, trolly and there to give a good laugh. Clearly, not everyone liked Draven Day. But those who did had a blast (including me, although I'm sad I couldn't see the Draven Heads on all the champs cause I was out of town that day) and most of those who didn't whined about it because they had to wait on a game mode (or didn't even know it was coming.) This forced Riot to literally cancel the joke completely. I'm sure ou guys forced Riot into a state where they don't want to try anything else on April Fools day, or even ruin an employee's confidence over this. I'm sure the board that came up with this is seeing the backlash from the minority (which looks like a majority because you all were too vocal, while everyone was enjoying themselves) and seriously re-evaluating what April Fools means to the company.
