A steel-plated conduit erupts from the ground, shaking the placid night. Jagged symbols adorn the conduit’s frame, shrouded by a viscous vapor oozing from its seams. What do you guys think about a Melee champion with a Q sort of like Jinx? It switches between Heavy Damage (2 handed weapon) and Attack Speed (Katana). Thought this would be a cool champion concept!

I had an idea like this a while ago, but didn't post anything since I thought the 'form switch' thing was being a bit over used as of late. Basically though it was a sentinel made from stone, and look kinda like a knight made out of rock who was covered in blue runes. With each ability basic ability used he would forcibly swap between a tankier, hard hitting version of himself, and a faster, quicker striking version. When using a spell in tanky form the effects would be shorter in range, have less damage but be heavy aoe while a fighter form spell would often be longer range and more precise, dealing more damage.

I know the similarity is already there but 'a while ago' was actually before Gnar's release. I know as a whole the idea sounds kinda similar but their both strictly melee and the transform is controlled. The idea was to create some interesting set ups for combinations or push certain costs like using a tanky aoe ability to push a wave in order to let you poke or trade with a more precise ability. It was all fuzzy concepts though, and Gnar's release actually gave me a really perfect champion for me to play. I love the little fuzz ball :)

Maybe a cool concept, but that would be on a melee carry. Fiora MasterYi Tryndamere Yasuo are melee carries, and the trend is, they are so difficult to balance since they either wreck or get wrecked every game.

maybe it could be like a mini khazix and then in mega gnar he could be giant, but then once he turns lvl 6 he gets red. cuz ya know. evolving

Am i the only one who IS DYING FOR A ETERNUM VEL'KOZ SKIN? That would be the best thing ever!He doesn't have a skin i really like (i personally did not like battle cast vel'koz) It would be amazing to have eternum vel'koz in my opinion. Velkoz

If they did that, that would kinda clear up the whole idea of where did nocturne originate from... It would basically ruin his entire lore, by making it obvious he is from the void. Currently he has no known origin.

Aside from ruining nocturne's lore, seems like a decent idea though.

Possibly. However, putting a second void champion with the skin would make it completely ruined, because as is it could just be passed off as coincidence

Nocturne is a nightmare who got stuck in a champion in league, nightmares don't need an origin, but he's definatly not from the void

plus in my opinion the skins dont really affect the lore , like what carnage said rek'sai has a eternum skin now does that really mean he is a nocturne like creature? in my opinion not really... its just a skin to me

Skin is cool, but it makes Rek'Sai look too small. I honestly would've wanted Deep Terror Rek'Sai, but this one appeals to the other type of audience i guess.
