Logged in just so I can tell you that you're so very wrong. Because I got my Hextech Annie skin from gemstones and didn't pay 250 dollars for it.
lolz I made it clear I was talking about the statistics of the matter, there are potentially a few people who will have gotten lucky and gotten them with less than 250 dollars but I'll guarantee you didn't get them just from game boxes, you had to pay for at least half unless you just have absolutely retarded luck, so you may not have paid 250 exactly but I highly doubt you got it for less than 100 dollars worth of boxes. This is a matter of what is probable not what is definite, because these skins don't have a definite price they only have a probable price; all I did was look at the statistics of the matter in the broadest sense, if you bought 11 chests during the promo when they gave away gemstones it was fairly likely to receive 2 gemstones from a 1950 RP bundle but certainly not definite and that would certainly alter the average likely price, so while for some unknown reason you got it cheaper doesn't mean the rest of us will be near as lucky, I know someone who has spent ~350 dollars on boxes and still not gotten 10 gemstones; he obviously had more money than he knew what to do with, sure wish I had that problem.
