Warriors Cinematic Season 2020 Asset Pack

Season 2020 has fully started. In case you missed it, to celebrate, Riot released a Warrior’s remix cinematic. This fully rendered 3D music video showed off some of your favorite League of Legends champs’ epic lore moments. To keep the hype train going, we are happy to release some of the amazing 3D files made by Blur Studio. This, along with detailed turn arounds and high res stills, should help you create your own cosplay and art to celebrate season 2020 in your own unique way.

3D Weapon Files

Do you need to not only see Caitlin’s gun but hold it in your own hands? We are happy to share the OBJ files for Caitlin’s Gun, Garen’s Sword, and Lux’s Staff. Just be warned, these are some BIG files. So be ready for them to take a while to download.

3D Turnarounds

Do you want to see the details of the characters themselves? Need to zoom in on every muscle of those mages from the Freljord? Well, now you can! Here are the 3D models for all the champions featured as well as some of lesser characters from the video. But be warned, these are also pretty massive files.

High Res Stills

If you are more about the whole cinematic itself, we have some high res stills from the CG to use as wallpapers, or just be used to inspire you to create your own versions.

Last but not least, we have concept art!

From "incase" to misplaced capitalization to extra/missing commas to failed parallel construction, that text is full of mistakes. Maybe Riot should outsource their writing, too.

Okay, but do tell me why you made Galio smaller than his splash art or short story? Everything felt perfect except for that looking at the artwork presented.

Tldr: things that work in 2D art in a splash don't always translate well to cinematics. Same reason why a champion in a splash art might have a smaller sword than in game. Different mediums need different things

Can i ask a question on why they are making more human champions instead of more inhuman characters, make more robot's, maybe more void characters, or make something new and that is not more human than fun (if you know what i mean). i'm just kinda annoyed by these human characters! I don't know about you guys, but there is TOO MEANY human like characters.

They simply sell better. Despite what you personally think of them, human champions are generally more popular and sell more skins.

Are you planning on adding the textures as well?

These are awesome, but 3DS Max is giving me an error saying that it can't locate the textures for the characters and weapons, and it doesn't look like there are any in the files.

I want to cosplay Frejlord Sylas, so the files are super helpful! They are way better than any of the screenshots from the cinematic. However I still can't see the full back detail of the hood on any of the jpeg files. Also, I am still confused on the chains. Are they a diamond or a hexagon? The concept art shows diamonds, but the cinematic appears to show hexagons... [katarina-love]

I'm hype that you are going to use it! This is one of those cases where you mighty just need to make a call on which shape of the chains you think is more interesting. As for the hood, download the 3D turn arounds, and look at the face close up shot. That's going to give you the best view

Yo riot, the tear of the goddess in the cinematic was floating similar to how the world runes did in the Ryze cinematic. So does this similarity mean that tear of the goddess is a world rune?

Download them and find out, otherwise you should be able to rig them yourself if it lets you use them in blender/unity (rigging models isnt neccessarily hard, just time consuming)

Riot, the files yesterday had the textures included as links separate from the model files, but today they're gone. I was able to download the item textures but not the character textures. Any way to reupload those?

There was even the castle environment, like 14 gigs of it but I didn't get to download it :(

Would it be possible to get the files in a format that can be opened in softwares other than 3ds max? Even a .3ds file would be fine since at least that could be converted. Any file format that includes the textures, as right now the files require some very expensive software to use effectively and exporting the files to a more universal file type would be very easy on your end.
