Riot has stated that they keep him in a perpetually nerfed state so he doesn't oppress everyone ridiculous amounts. He's up next for a big rework (Poppy, Sion, Taric). I'd expect something on him sometime late this year though. :)

Riot has been saying "we will rework yorick" for almost 4 years. But it will not happen. They need to see the rise in yorick players before it is worth their time. He is my secondary top laner, cause he demolishes.

I have a feeling he is gonna come around Harrowing. Riot always likes to do spooky stuff around Harrowing and there is literally no better time than it to release Yorick.

No, Harrowing, we don't have Halloween on Runeterra. But if you're actually a newer player, or just oblivious, yes it normally happens close to Halloween.

Hey come on now! I love to play Yorick and truth be told he is actually fun and one of my favorite champs! I think is that everyone judges him based on his old look and abilities. He will be reworked soon and I am a bit sad, but knowing them they will probably make it a good one like with Taric . Anyways I will always love you Yorick even when you get reworked.

Yorick is really good if you know what you're doing. He has such a great and unique kit. He has sustain, consistent damage and slow, and mixed damage. I'd hate to see him get a major rework. Also, part of what makes him great is that no one plays him, so no one really knows how to play against him.

Yo, mastery 5 here with Yorick, he is actually damn good in solo que, but not in lcs cause he is a lane dominant champion, and there is practically no laning in the LCS. He isn't in a perma nerfed state, he is actually pretty balanced right now.

Except he was played by UoL last season. He's not great, but he's not terrible. He's got his niche and until his rework Riot is happy to let him sit in said niche. He's a fairly oppressive laner with decent split push and meh teamfighting.

Hey now, don't be talking smack about my boy Yorick. He's an incredible champ when played right, and his passive is arguably one of the best in the game. Also, his ult can turn the tide of any teamfight.

That said, I play him a lot, and I hope he doesn't get a rework. He's good as is. Just a little mana hungry, that's all.

Well since I seem to remember challenger Ahri going on sale not too long ago (late last season maybe?), I doubt that'll happen not for a while at least item 3070
