Hey guys,

We’re piloting the first episode of (what we hope to be!) a new video series, the Patch Rundown! These videos will focus on the contents of the latest patch before opening up a discussion between Riot designers and guests. Patch 4.12 introduces jungle timers along with changes to Alistar, Lucian and more - hit play for the full rundown and patch discussion featuring Statikk and Nome from Riot Games and Snoopeh from Evil Geniuses.

i really like this idea. its really neat (in my opinion) to hear the raw logic behind all of these changes that most people just say "herpdeherpdehurr, that's op"

Really liked this video. It was especially great with snoopeh their questioning some of the decisions as a pro player. He really stopped them hard when he asked about lucians range nerf and then they did their best to convince him it was for the better. It was a great discussion i hope to see more of these. Also Pudding did a great job.

Awesome AD changes But i think the item 3508 is a little too expensive to be 3400 Gold. its not worth the Passive 2-8% mana

I would actually like to see an additional professional player in there. The discussion from Riot's perspective is really interesting, but I also liked to hear what Snoopeh had to say. Then there would also be more parity between professional and designer points of view. :)

I really like the feature, would love to see more of them. And feel free to go longer. :P

Not a bad idea.

But there seems to be a ridiculous amount of people who do this, and not to mention, they do it with more depth.

Probably won't be my first go to, but still, good luck Riot.

Edit: What I do like about it, is the fact you get the team behind the changes involved.

I thoroughly enjoy hearing the different perspectives on the Patch Notes. All the more insightful to see Snoopeh play devil's advocate on a couple of the changes to answer some of my own questions. Good work Riot, I'm a fan.

i feel like once you get all the champs and all the runes IP is useless and almost subtracts a part of the game once I acquired everything. I essentially have a growing savings account that i only use to buy new champs when they come out. Once you get like 10000 or 20000 IP you should be able to trade it in for like 975 RP. I'd play more.

ok the jungle timers are long overdue, but we still dont have friendly ult timers. id also like to see friendly summoners timers although thats a little less important. we need the ult timers at least. it takes time to type and ask how long til a teamates ult is back up and thats important information. looking at a timer makes the game flow much better, compared to taking time to type
