it isn't coming back cuz it was fun... not exactly their status quo for content. i doubt we'll ever see the dark star, star guardian, or odyssey game modes ever again either

Riot is so disconnected from their player base its crazy, I've waited for 2 years for the star guardian mode to come back and they've already said that its not coming back. I thought MAYBE they'd keep the project gamemode but riot is honestly just... disappointing.

There was a project game mode? I only remember Dark Star (that I never played). And Star Guardian and Odyssey which I really enjoyed

There's way too many events. It's like one event barely ends and BAM another one. Events used to be something special. Now they just seem like a permanent addition to the game..

Why. Is. Jinx. Getting. Another. SKIN?! She literally just got a futuristic skin and now we are getting another when other champs have been 100% neglected from getting new skins. Since her release she has gotten almost the same amount of attention as bloody Lux has. Just give us skins for other champions, good lord.

I'm pretty sure if the game was balanced around keeping as many champions involved and as viable as possible for the most variety of gameplay, the skin releases would be way more diverse as well and spread across more champions

They're the icons for the Dark Star Thresh event that happened a few times. It was for a game mode with crazy Thresh abilities to pull or throw your enemies into the black hole in the center of a small map to kill them for points.

I relate to this on a whole different level. Back when prestige skins came out, the only way to get them was through the capsules through different events. I spent about $100 to get 100 points (and the capsules that came with it) but now I can’t even spend them on some prestige skins. Riot should make it so EVERY prestige skin is 100 prestige points instead of some being exclusive to the event tokens.

wow this project release is weirdly disappointing. anyone else think the splashes themselves look kind of... ugly? like low quality in terms of just creativity and style/design. they just seem so boring

Part of the reason could be that 3 out of 6 skins don't even look like PROJECT skins. Akali's is just bad (and doesn't have white hair without chromas), Warwick's looks like a Mecha skin, and Jinx's looks bizarre, like a sci-fi take on her Slayer skin, especially since her hair isn't white. WW's and Jinx's skins are fine-looking if they were from some other skinline, but they're not PROJECT skins, imo. Pyke's is decent and Irelia's two are okay I guess. But I do feel like the skin line has gone on too long.

I remember when you could have enough tokens by the end of it to get the chroma and something else but Riot has modified the values so you have to get the pass if you don't want to wait 4 weeks or want to buy other things... come on man

I really gotta say i gave riot a chance but I'm not happy with them either. I enjoyed their events and after the first event pass people were unhappy. They don't care and now EVERY event has a pass.

If they keep REMOVING popular game modes I honestly recommend boycotting the passes until they bring back what the players want. And maybe limit passes to worlds and a few others I can't afford $16 passes for like 20 events. That's $320 dollars a year jus to get the right to redeem tokens for chromas.

THEN after spending that money you have to buy a $16 or more skin to redeem it when you bought a pass. Pass = right to BUY. I'm not paying till thats fixed. GARBAGE riot sorry.

We give around $300 a year if we get all the passes people and we don't return game modes. Then we gotta buy skins to activate our rewards on top of that. Don't pay and we will get the modes back

2 team pool party mode with 2 teams in pool and neutral player running tiki bar as zac throwing drinks at players in pool pls
