Medieval Twitch & Grey Warwick Honor 5 Chromas

Hey everyone! Ed “SapMagic” Altorfer here to give you an update on Honor rewards for 2019. If you’re an honorable player and you’ve been around a couple years, you probably already earned both of the exclusive Honor 5 rewards: Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick. We don’t want to leave you hanging, so this season we’re adding chromas for these skins to the reward lineup as a way of recognizing the most sportsmanlike players.

Going forward, if you already own both Medieval Twitch and Grey Warwick when you hit Honor 5, you’ll get a chroma for both skins and a random emote or ward skin. On the other hand, if you haven’t earned both skins yet, you’ll unlock one of them just like before.

With the season reset, it’ll be a few months before players climb back to Honor 5, so we’ll be back later in the season with a proper debut for the new chromas. Hmm... is there something wrong if I have been honor 5 every season since it released and I don't have both of these skins? I got grey WW this year, but don't have Medieval Twtich.

I mean don't get me wrong yay for new chormas, but as a player who had hit honor 5 every time since its release AND who never plays either of those champs... this isn't much incentive. If you want to really motivate people to hit and maintain honor 5 you should make exclusive skins that can only be obtained by holding honor 5 through the end of the season. Make a line of Honorguard skins for say 2-3 champs a year and people would be much more incentivized to maintain honor 5 rather then remaking the same honor wards each year or a chorma for skins that only apply to 2 roles. Honorable supports dont really play ww or twitch :P

I've had honor 5 since it came out, and I only have Medieval twitch, it seems more like you're giving it to the lucky people the few that got both skins please fix this mistake seem very unfair.

I got 2 accounts, this account gets H5 for 2 seasons and only received Grey WW in S8, nothing received in S7 for H5. The other account gets H3 in S7 and H5 in S8, received both skins in 2017 according to the date shown by the system. Excuse me? Can someone help explain this???

So I have had honor 5 since you could get it, but I don't have one of the skins. Will I just end up getting the one I don't have or how will that work?

So because of RNG, I don't have Medieval Twitch from being H5 in S7. Now I will be getting shafted for only getting Medieval Twitch this season, no Extra chroma, no ward skin, no emote?

Hope you won't make me feel as bad as I imagine.

Still waiting for some compensation for getting the skins before the Honor program included them... =/ Feels bad that I did a ton of referrals for these skins and didn't even get a loading screen bonus. Plus, a few other LE skins are missing their loading screen bonuses too... /sigh

I like the continued support of the Honor System. I will definitely appreciate the chromas. I am not always a perfect gentleman in game but I do try not to flame or rage when games go south. Getting rewarded for self control and good behavior it a good idea. Thanks.

With that said I would appreciate it if Riot would also support the Clubs with more robust features.

Okay, so I've been touch with Support:

We'll get the Golden Chromas as a part of the "end-of-season" rewards this year.

EDIT: Okay, now I'm confused... Support said "end-of-season"...and now there's this:

They said BOTH Chromas 6 months ago - now it's ONE Chroma. :/

Hey Sapmagic,

Was any thought put into those individuals who received both of those skins, through the refer-a-friend program? I've gotta admit. It felt a bit lack luster only receiving a couple key frags and 250 BE, while seeing others receive these exclusive legacy skins while receiving Honor 5 Orbs. I also feel off that the "exclusivity" of receiving the skin by referring friends from a long time ago is gone. Maybe a good comparison would be when the Champ Riven skin was re-released?

Would you ever think of adding more Honor exclusive skins? I find they are incredible even if they are simple, and wouldn't even mind if you decided to bring back some old skins for it like discarded toys Amumu and Blitzcrank

Two tokens doesn't seem enough. You can get the new skins or the new chromas? What if you have none? You miss out on the chromas....or get the chromas, and, cannot use them.

We the ppl should get a loading screen for them both from the RAF V 3.0 or lower just like the Championship Riven and Urf the Manatee, come on riot games...

Why not just bring back another Legacy skin each year like Riot Blitzcrank or Traditional Trundle?

It would have more impact than a chroma.
