A rather spooky Vaulting of skins

There have been reports of skins in the shop screaming (and calling it “cheering”), turning others into cupcakes, levitating, and doing all sorts of spooky things. It might be due to rumors of ghastly new skins coming to town, causing these classic skins to want to show off—but skins acting up is never something the skins keeper tolerates. We’ve decided, for all of our sakes, to kindly ask these skins to descend into the Legacy Vault.

But before they completely dematerialize into the Legacy Vault, you can grab them in the store for 50% off from October 26 at 11:00 AM PT until November 1 at 11:59 PM PT - and let them conduct their funny business in your collection forevermore.

I think he's talking about the Legacy Worlds Orb, which costs 20 extra Worlds Tokens and all you get is a "Legacy" skin, which is code for "old and outdated."

The only reason they are actually vaulting the Striker Lucian skin is because they lost a law suit and they have to pay the guy they based the skin off all the revenue from it lol.

not really i think the legacy vault is the stupidest thing riot does. I understand real life themed skins and esports skins being legacy but there literally i no point to make anything else legacy

Did you notice the newer skins are taking too long to go on full sale? The more skins available, the longer a cycle of sales takes, so the recent skins (with higher quality) take longer to go on full sale

They already did it, they originally had 3 Skins and Champions go on sale every rotation.

I'm surprised the Crimson Elite and Commando Lines didn't finally get Vaulted. Good call on the World Cup Vaulting. Was always a little surprised they weren't vaulted like the rest of the Olympic based skins.

Outback Renekton is a 520. I also confirm that Loch Ness Cho'Gath is a 520. Northern Storm Volibear is a 750.

No because I already bought it on sale. I've only bought a handful of my skins for full price. I just don't remember if I bought it on skin sale rotation or via the shop.

Can we have Red Card Kat back for a week or so? I want the skin and it hasn't been unvaulted once within the three and a half years I've been playing. We even got Gray WW and Medieval Twitch back, even if they're honor skins now.

I don't understand Rito's business policy. You have merchandise, digital merchandise, a skin. Why retire it? Why not put skins through the same pricing process as champions? Old, ugly skin/champion? Make it cheap. Brand spanking new skins: full price, even throw in bonus borders for novelty. You'll always attract new customers, and eventually you'll attract those customers "that gotta have everything." So why do this Legacy/Retired/Seasonal Crap? To make it unique? You have 130+ Champions with 1,000's+ of skins! Every player's champion pool is already unique at this point. But yea, /rant.

also due to crowding of the skin store. They want to get rid of outdated skins/ skins no one/rarely buys anymore. This helps to keep the store front better. If you ran a physical store and had all these old toys and basically trash sitting in the front window of your store, the only people that would be attracted would be antique collectors or old people. Since this is online, there is very few people that fit into that category or none at all. So league will get rid of all the old stuff so that people do not have to look at it. You know how big the store would get with all the skins that are in there if all the legacy would be in there also.

Why aren't ALL legacy skins brought out of the vault for a window of time, such as this one? IIRC, The Harrowing of years past did make all legacy skins available. Why not again? There are some legacy skins that I want not included in this list. Tis' the season for Zombie Ryze, right?
