Face off in our fanart contest!

Riot·Sep 3, 2014·4 votes·139,989 views

To celebrate legendary battles and equally epic fanart, we’re launching the League of Legends Fanart Face Off contest! We challenge you to create an original piece of art—drawn, painted, digital, or in any other two-dimensional format—that depicts two or more champions in the midst of battle.

The top 10 winners will receive a bundle of skins and RP:

Mad Scientist Singed
Prototype Viktor
Blast Zone Heimerdinger
Time Machine Zilean
10,000 RP

Contest rules:

Your entry must depict two or more champions in the midst of battle: you can show them dueling to their last breath, joining forces to slaughter a sinister foe, or teaming up to take down a monstrous objective
Your entry must depict a ward: doesn’t matter if it’s stealth, vision, or one of the trinkets—just make sure one’s present in your artwork
Your entry must be appropriate for players of all ages: League’s rated teen, so nothing too risqué
Your entry can’t include any logos, advertisements, product names, or product placements: we don’t want Gragas, Esq. writing us any cease and desist letters!
Your entry must be made by you, submitted by you, and made for this contest: this is about YOU showing YOUR artistic talents specifically for this contest
Your entry must be submitted in the correct format and size: we're only taking submissions formatted in .jpg or .png; the maximum file size is 5MB and suggested minimum dimensions are 600x600px

The contest submission period starts today and ends on September 17 at 11:59 PM PST. On September 26, we’ll announce the winners! As all of you know, we prefer to have the community judge these types of contests. However, the tech we’re using to run the contest is still in beta, so we’ll need to keep voting internal this time around.

If you’re looking for more info, check out the official rules. When you’re ready to submit your masterpiece, head over here!

The submission period for the Fanart Face Off contest is now closed. Check out the winners here.

Hey since you and I are obviously artists connected at heart, would you care to evaluate this piece I did and submitted for this competition?

I think I have a real shot at winning it.

I offer only the best to my peers on these tedious and fickle forums.

PandacidalTvSep 4, 201449 votes

Read the rules man, you need to have some type of ward in there.

SlendrMangosteenSep 4, 201453 votes

It must be noted that a true artist does not follow rules of man but the inspiration of the muses...

But a successful artist give the people what they want.

If yall could upvote this so we can get a red to answer would be fantastic!

So are we only allowed one submission per person? also does it have to depict a real battle or can it be something funny like dunkmaster darius slamdunking gragus like a ball?

titanswiftSep 3, 201466 votes

Why do we have to have a ward? I was gonna do Nocturne in a dark room against hidden Teemo :/

flame4321xSep 3, 2014162 votes

Dude, its perfect now. Have a completely dark room, with a ward in the middle, showing just enough light to show the face of nocturne and the face of teemo (no longer invisible due to the pink ward) shocked and scared. Patent Pending

That's actually genius. Do it before he does and win yourself the prizes. Good luck m8

Ik, i didnt really care until i saw the 10,000 RP. then i crafted this drawing in my mind of akali in her w, but darius uses an upgraded sweeping lens, and the drawing would be akali with a startled and scared face looking up at the incoming DUNK. Then i realised im god awful at art and cried one tear.

ward?is that to promote warding for bronze players?

VoyalSep 3, 201434 votes

Bronze people ward too, It's not warding that makes the stay in bronze it's there lack of positivity and teamwork. Don't judge bronze people you would understand if you where in Bronze. Assuming you've never been to bronze based on your comment.
