Yes, Poppy looks somewhat similar to what she used to. She's short, blue, and has similar hair, but that's it. Out of all of the champions that have had "reworks", she, by far, has changed the most in character, personality, and lore. She's the complete opposite of what she used to be. She's cute. She's girly. She's clumsy, stupid, and ignorant. Her lore is completely different as well. You can immediately tell how different the two are by listening to their champion select quotes.

"Valoran will know harmony." Her voice has confidence, seriousness, strength, and determination. All things that New Poppy lacks.

"I'm no hero. Just a Yordle with a hammer." Her voice lacks confidence, seriousness, strength, and makes her come across as being ignorant/dimwitted.

She's a mockery of what she used to be. Her kit, on the other hand, is actually pretty similar, apart from the ult, which seems really random.

Gangplank? His Q is almost completely the same. His W is almost completely the same. His E is completely different, but part of his ult is similar to his old E. His personality was always a brutal, merciless tyrant. The only thing that changed is that all of his humor has gone, and he's extremely gritty, dark, and serious. Sort of like what they did to Sion, although to a lesser extent. Not that bad. Still seems enough like Gangplank to me.

Also, I won't deny that I miss Old GP's voice a ton. I loved it.

Really agree with the poppy comment. I think they should've done a voice over for her Blacksmith skin as an homage to the old lore, like how they did with Captain Gangplank.

Yeah, thanks. To be honest, her kit IS similar. Her W gives her movement speed and makes her tankier (while also at lower health, like her passive used to do), her Q still does maximum health damage and it's a spammable ability, not to mention she still hits you with her hammer, and her E is almost completely the same, although I think they extended the range on it a bit, which feels really unfair. Her ult is stupid, though.

Anyways, the new Poppy voiceover is the worst change they've made to any of these champions. Galio's new voice is at least sort of interesting, even if it sounds stupid and doesn't him. Poppy's just comes off as being annoying.

I'm glad you don't support removing entire champions from the game, although I think your views are a little bit different than mine.

Sion needed to be updated. Change his abilities a bit, adjust his ratios, make his visuals more up to date, ect.

What they did instead was take away everything that made him Sion, THEN called it an update, which it obviously wasn't. He completely lost his Q. He kept his W (somewhat). He completely lost his E. He completely lost his ult. He completely lost his passive. His visuals were completely changed. His voice was completely changed (would have been understandable if they gave him a traditional skin, but they didn't). His lore remained the same. He may have been called Sion, but in very few ways was he actually like him. He was simply a new champion with the same name. Even his CLASS AND ROLE changed. It would be understandable if they wanted to get rid of AP Sion, because, while it made him more versatile, it WAS pretty unhealthy. A point and click stun that also nukes people is NOT a very fair ability. But instead of picking AD Sion and getting rid of AP Sion, or even vice versa, they got rid of BOTH, and made him a CC Tank. That is NOT what Sion was. He was a non-squishy Melee Carry.

Also, Kog'Maw is still in a weaker state than he used to be, thanks to the nerfs to his base stats on the Marksman Update patch. AP Kog'Maw is also still slightly weaker, and thanks to the huge nerf to his E, he's pretty fucking shit now.

Gangplank's "update" was actually an update. He's still Gangplank, even if he lost his sense of humor and one of his abilities. That's not too bad.

Yorick's ult isn't bad, and it's actually pretty cool, but when you compare it to his old ult, it's fucking trash. He's MUCH less of a threat in team fights, and he's too dependent on it for dueling when he's outside of his lane.

Poppy's new kit actually isn't too bad, and all of her abilities are similar (especially her E) to her old abilities, EXCEPT the ult. They just threw that shit in for no reason, and it's incredibly stupid. That's not to say that I hate what they did to her. Her personality is the opposite of Old Poppy's, and they made her all cute (which Poppy was NOT supposed to be). Also, her voice is incredibly annoying.

Mordekaiser never had a large playerbase. Also, you can't really compare Mordekaiser to Poppy and Yorick. He's still Mordekaiser, even if his abilities cause more problems than they used to now. It's still his voice, though, his model, and his lore.

Fiora now actually makes me miss the old Fiora. Old fiora was fucking cancer, but this one? She's just... Like, wow. Way to go Riot. You made her even more unfair to play against.
