For everyone on the west coast that is making a big deal about the server move you need to take a seat and listen up. The east coast has been having insanely high ping for how long??? Some have gotten over 200 ping and now because you have 60 its such a big deal? I am a west coast player from Canada and I find the people appalling who are talking about quitting because of the ping. Suck it up and play because this isn't an unfair move, it was the best thing riot could have done for the community and I am grateful for that. I can live with 60 ping... Can you? summoner 30

you know, ive spent hundreds of dollars on this game, and i know tens of thousands of others have too, youre so greedy that you had to MOVE the server rather than just put another one there? thats just wrong, my ping and the ping of so many others went up because of this move because you wouldnt just add another server out there and improve EVERYONES connection

Glad to get more of an insight to what goes on behind the scenes! Surely it will help players to understand the technical hurdles and perhaps respect how much goes into ensuring no downtime. I won't hold my breath though :p

As a player who has had a constant 200~ ping throughout the last year, I love Riot. They have lowered my ping by about 140 so now I play at the Average(ish) ping in NA. It's a shame that we all have to be average and that certain players can't get a geological advantage over others anymore though.

And what did they do to the west cost players? Raise it by 40? It is ridiculous that they think that that is fair.

What are we doing to help Hawaii. That's what I want to know. Having 90-110 ping in Hawaii was a norm but you can actually feel the delay now at 120-150 average. Would wtfast potentially cure this ping or should we just deal with it?

servers that big and powerful are expensive, thank you riot for your hard effort to try to find a middle ground to make things overall better for everyone... that being said im still waiting for battlecast malzahar lol. Thanks again for looking at the bigger picture.

I think this is great move I live on the west coast I accually lived 3 hours away from the old server location. I had 10-25 ping depending on the day. I now have 55-67 ping and I'm happy about that to be able to play on even ground now with some of the east coast players that had 100+ ping now its a game where you need at least some skill to outdo your lane opponent if their across the country.

Why is my ping higher even though I'm closer to Chicago than Los Angeles, it went up by about 40. My old ping was 50-55 and now it's 90-95. Please help!!!

I live in California and i was fine with the server moving but now that it has happened, i cant even enjoy a game. i use to be at 50 to 60 but now I'm at 130-180 and it jumps frequent. i already have everything at the lowest setting(always did) its just the servers or something. it freezes for a second and i miss a bunch of cs and almost die..not fun at all.. i don't know please help if you can, i guess lol? Gnar
