The newest champions released have grand backstories, and a lot of connections to other characters. I love the detail put into her taunts to yordles, noxians, demacians, and of course... poor Rek'sai.
I'm a lore nerd, so I NEED to know! Illaoi follows the god Nagakabouros, and she wields an eye of her god. Will we see other parts of Nagakabouros? Other preists of other powers? Or maybe... A manifestation of Naga itself?
Make a Medusa-themed Illaoi, and make her tentacles snakes!
I've seen enough Q&A to know where this is going.
I've got a couple questions.
Matching skins should probably be made "Tentakill Illaoi" and "Tentakill Vel'Kozz" ;P
My question is this, will Illaoi's tentacles apply on hit effects?
Can Tahm eat tentacles and spirits?
Why is the champion reveal art seem so vastly different from her other art- which shows an islander woman whilst the art shown here she appears pretty light skinned. And I was digging the wild thick hair the other art had... and why is she stepping on her idol. Granted she does hit with it but it seems a bit odd if not disrespectful...
edit: Also was hoping for a much more rounder woman. Reading about her in the Harrowing story I imagined a strong islander woman who was heavy set but not because of muscle. Granted it's a step towards not having every champion who's a female the same hourglass figure but... it's still not out of the box OMG worthy. Most of the men in game are pretty buff. Adding another buff champion isn't saying much.

My question is WHY ARE YOU RELEASING HER? PBE forums are chock full of people who have problems with Illaoi, bugs with her, and you're releasing her NEXT PATCH? You clearly don't listen to your testers.
Riot should create a champion that mimics/copies the appearance/abilities of an enemy/ally for its ultimate for a duration of time. That'd be a new idea for a new champion.

So far when I tested Illaoi on my PBE, she seems to have a crazy heal and very powerful kit.
