Azzurro Skied19 votesThe newest champions released have grand backstories, and a lot of connections to other characters. I love the detail put into her taunts to yordles, noxians, demacians, and of course... poor Rek'sai.
I'm a lore nerd, so I NEED to know! Illaoi follows the god Nagakabouros, and she wields an eye of her god. Will we see other parts of Nagakabouros? Other preists of other powers? Or maybe... A manifestation of Naga itself?

Lady Birdthulu5 votesWhy is the champion reveal art seem so vastly different from her other art- which shows an islander woman whilst the art shown here she appears pretty light skinned. And I was digging the wild thick hair the other art had... and why is she stepping on her idol. Granted she does hit with it but it seems a bit odd if not disrespectful...
edit: Also was hoping for a much more rounder woman. Reading about her in the Harrowing story I imagined a strong islander woman who was heavy set but not because of muscle. Granted it's a step towards not having every champion who's a female the same hourglass figure but... it's still not out of the box OMG worthy. Most of the men in game are pretty buff. Adding another buff champion isn't saying much.

YeetForYousoro1 votesMy answer is simple: they said later in the patch. Also, as an actual PBE tester, I can tell you that Illaoi's issues have in the main been fixed, though i do feel that she might be a tad overpowered at the moment, though only live play can tell. The bugs were fixed pretty early on. The weirdest "problem" I encountered over my time playing her was that I had tentacles spawn in places that they shouldn't have been able to (normal tentacles spawning in the actual lane and not a wall/turret) Plus when they have a team specifically for fixing bugs, it's not that hard to believe they've already fixed those bugs that were issues, and are ready to release her and are just staggering their content release, as they usually do.
In short: Stop fishing to find a problem

The Magyk1 votesult summons 1 tentacle for every enemy champion hit, if you hit 5 you spawn 5 tentacles that deal full damage to anything you use your w on (which turns into a 2 second cooldown while her ult is active) this can result in 100-0ing a squishy in an r+w combo.
on the side of the e, it only does a % of the damage dealt to the spirit, base at i think 25%, so if they use all their damage on the spirit its like you have a 75% damage resistance for all of their high damage out put abilities. the e also cant kill you unless they hit you as well as the spirit, as it starts with your current health and as said above, doesnt take full damage. also doesnt appear to apply on hit effects to the effected champion. so things like twitch's poison, teemos, things that might kill you after the e expires, dont have any effect on the host body.
This is from what ive observed of the champion.
short form: ult has the potential to win a team fight, e cant even kill a single person.
