FAQ

[Dressed to Kill Mission] Do I have to equip a skin?
Nope. As long as someone in your games equips a skin, they will count toward your mission.

[Dressed to Kill Mission] Do I have to play with 30 different players?
Nope. The mission counts up to 10 skins per game (one for each player on the Rift). If you play with the same people in another game and they are wearing skins, that still counts toward your mission as well.

[Death Sworn Mission] Do I have to kill the Neutral Monsters?
Nope. As long as anyone on your team takes them down, the kill will count toward your mission.

Do custom games count toward either mission?
Nope. You must enter a matchmade game for the mission to count. These include PvP and Co-Op vs. AI games.

I don't think this will be a very popular comment, but...

It has been over 4 years since Riot Games promised they would follow up with Limited Edition (LE) skin owners. Hippalus and Tryndamere both promised that there would be a survey to get LE owner's reactions to how Riot handled bringing back skins that you said would never be brought back.

We're still waiting. And many of us still are hurt by how you handled it.

i've played the game since 2010 and i am not upset in the slightest that headless hecarim - the skin i bought when it came out because i thought it was exclusive - has been on sale nearly every halloween since then.

i love that skin and all but it's a video game and i don't give a shit if something i bought comes back on sale. i didn't do anything special for the skin, i just played the game at the time it came out and bought it. someone else who also loves the skin shouldn't be barred from owning it just because they started playing the game after the 2011 halloween event, or didn't have the money when it came out

i don't really understand this comparison. if the event item comes back next year and you have to do the same exact task to get it, it's completely fair. obviously if it comes back the next year and the task is much easier / the item is now free when it used to be paid / earned, it's not okay.

but it's not like the halloween skins from 2011 are cheaper now than they were in 2011, someone who buys headless hecarim now is spending the same money i did in 2011

I'm upset with Riot advertising that they would never come back and then breaking their promise. I don't care if everyone owns a skin, I don't want Riot to say it will never come back and then bring them back. That's the point. Don't blame the consumers, blame the marketing and sellers.

If you've ever played Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow; Riot is sort of like the Magikarp Merchant before Mt. Moon. You'll get something Useless Cough Skins Cough (Magikarp) that you can't even get until you get the proper farming equipment Cough RP Cough (Fishing Rod).

When you bought it, (Skin Or Magikarp) it was exclusive and it seemed like a good deal. But later in the game the Content (Skin or Magikarp) was something that existed in abundance.

It's kind of like that, you can be mad about it, but in the end there are plenty more Magikarp in the sea.

I own a bunch of LE skins and I have the border that was given as a consolation to all of us who had them on the first Harrowing... Soooo. I personally think we got what we deserved as far as reimbursement for the LE re-release. (Basically, the Magikarp I bought evolved into Gyarados and pretty much owns everything.)

To everyone flaming this comment, remind yourselves, he is not asking for special treatment/skins, he is asking that riot uphold their words and he wants a SURVEY, he never said his opinion on the survey, just that he wants what riot promised. Too often people bring something up that riot promised and didn't do but get down-voted and called things like "petty". If a company makes a promise and doesn't deliver, regardless of your thoughts on the matter, you have the right to and should say something. That's the way we keep them keeping their promises. In this post he says that many are hurt by how they handled "it". Everyone assumes its the LE process but it could be the survey, as people who bought a product with a promise (Its limited edition) and then finding out that's not going to be the case, they have the right to throw their hat in the ring. If you get a computer part and it says it comes with 3-year warranty, but for some reason (lets say a massive product recall by a 3rd party), they reasonably want to withdraw the warranty offer. You are right to throw your 2 cents in as the warranty contributed in your decision to buy the thing.

This seems like a pretty lame event this year... I love the gamemode and everything, but I miss things like The Harrowing and other actual events, instead of cosmetic sales because of the season.

But old Doombots was easily beaten by splitpushing and/or stacking magic resist (since Wukong and Ezreal were literally the only two possible AD bots, and they rarely got both in the same match). It was a joke of a game mode.
