The ban system in regular play is likely to be at least somewhat different to that used in organized play, given the context’s different (you don’t know your opponents nor are you consistently playing with the same teammates).
Starting point is a desire to offer one ban to each player as a core goal without increasing time in champion select in the process."

Since the release of lethality, it seems that all marksman build the same thing (IE, AS/Crit item, BT, etc.) While there is room for diversity, things like botrk, it still seems like the marksman item pool is stale and routine for all bot lane marksman when compared to the large item pool for mages.
msk514 votesTo clarify, when playing mages I enjoy changing my build game to game. There is even room to change my choices on boots. However whenever I play ADC, I feel like I'm chained to my build with the exception of maw of malmortius and mercurial scimitar. Changes in build are from champion to champion for bot lane marksman (Jhin buying boots of swiftness), rather than game to game. To me, this results in a dull and lifeless item strategy.

Auturgist1 votesDo you believe measures need to be taken to ensure newer players are more prepared for ranked play when it comes to things like champion pools, available rune pages (two is not enough to cover AD champs, AP champs, tanks, and some junglers or supports!), and even basic game knowledge?
Personally, I know that I will probably never be higher than Gold, but as someone who strives, season after season, to climb out of Silver, I find myself in so many ranked games with people who do not own many champions, do not have appropriate rune pages, and do not understand what many would consider the fundamentals of the game. It's incredibly frustrating, and definitely contributes, I believe, to toxicity in League when players are teamed with obviously new and oblivious players in ranked games. Maybe this only affects players in and around Silver, but it has definitely been my experience.
In addition to more/easier access to champions, runes, and rune pages, I'd like to see more tutorials, perhaps in-game exercises or a required number of normal games that players need to complete before being able to queue for ranked, with refreshers being necessary if they drop divisions.
bro0rtega1 votesJust something to think about related to your proposal "a required number of normal games that players need to complete" I have multiple lvl 30 smurf accounts, and when I get to lvl 30, I would like to jump into ranked right away. That proposal would hinder this process for me and many others.
Auturgist1 votesCounterpoint: if you are on a smurf account, many of my concerns do not apply to you. Someone who just leveled their first account, however, might have played mostly bot games to get there, and so doesn't have the same experience playing against other players. Also, those players likely don't know nearly as much about what to expect from all the meta champions.
I can't tell you how many times I look at what teammates are building in game, and their builds are fucking terrible. I can only assume it's because they build whatever they want against bots and win, so they think they can do the same against opponents who have optimal runes and masteries and build appropriately.

robotmaster1 votesWhat is your stand on making only supports having over load kits. The best example would be Thresh, you can say that he does have an over load kit but it works fine because he is at his best in the support rule. I would just like to know what you think.
