The Rainbow Fluft Icon Returns!

Last year we debuted the Rainbow Fluft Icon to support IDAHOTB, aka the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up the adorable icon, don’t worry because this year we’re bringing it back with a little added kick.

Show your support for an inclusive worldwide gaming community by purchasing (and equipping) the Rainbow Fluft Icon for 1 Blue Essence. Instead of the rainbow spawn-in animation from last year, players who equip the icon this year will have a unique homeguard animation that leaves behind a sparkling rainbow trail whenever you leave the fountain. And, as a little added bonus, you can equip a custom background in your profile, too!

You can grab the icon, background, and animation until the end of patch 9.10. So grab a friend and see if you can make a double rainbow all the way across the Rift.

why are people gettin butt hurt about an icon being made. showin support to a group/community doesnt take away the "love" or "attention" from another? how do people not realize that. the "why do they get that and i dont?" mentality is really childish... if u support it cool, go buy the icon. if not: just ignore it, carry on... do what you normally do. no one is twisting anyones arm here.

I'd much rather see Riot supporting a clean, safe, sexual harassment-free environment in the workplace than this. I'm sure if they did and posted news about it; the comment section there wouldn't be full of stupid opinions and arguments like this comment section is.

on a serious note, I'm cool with this, except for trans... let me explain. I don't care if your trans, thats fine, but sometimes you don't actually want to be trans and are just gay but don't know it. At that point most of them are like "well, I have no money from the surgery, my body is messed up, time to end this". In short, if your gonna be trans then just wait to be completely sure first.

I can't help but feel riot doesn't actually care and is just pulling the typical tokenistic move like they usually do. After all, the company has had issues with sexism and a multitude of other things up until even now.
