some champions have only been out once at their release and then never get on the rotation again. i think it might be an error or something (correct me if im wrong). this link predicts what champions will be on the rotation next and if you look up taliyah and kled, it just says they have only been out once. hopefully Taliyah comes out soon. shes rly fun to play

Come on guys, you've gotta fix this crap. I know it's a random rotation, but it's always the same 50 champs it seems. Azir and Ekko get put in rotation every few months and Taliyah(one that a lot of people want) has only been in rotation once.

Please if at all possible do at least one rotation that is the top 10 fan voted champs. That wasy we can play the champs we actually want instead of the same bland champs we get every rotation.

One of the goals of the rotation is "eventually get to try out every champion". And being able to 'test drive' a champ before you buy likely leads to better sales, not worse (overall).

Alistar and Tristana are not in the rotation, but this is mostly due to them being Free through promotional offers (do a quick google, Garen is Promo-free too). Kled and Taliyah haven't been seen since release, and they haven't really said why.

As for 'the same 50 champs', that's more complicated. Part of the issue is that they put (at least) 2 champs for every position into the rotation. ADC and Support have the smallest groups to choose from, so you are going to see them a lot more often than the other positions.

Another goal of the rotation is "new player friendly". New players don't own a lot of champs. So the easier (to start) to learn champs have higher frequencies than the tricky ones do.

I get what you're saying, but just look at how many times Ekko and Azir have been in rotation compared to other mids. Mid has a pretty big champ pool, so they shouldn't be this common.

As for what you said about "the same 50 champs," I understand why support and adc are so frequent, but I was mostly referring to top and mid.

Now for your final point, "new player friendly" is just plain bullshit. Half of this rotation is listed at a pretty high skill level. If the system was designed to pick easier champs based on their assigned stats Azir and Ekko would never be picked because they are listed as being very difficult.

If they really want to have a new player friendly rotation it should be all safe mages, tanks, and easy fighters, things like Orianna, Zyra, Nautilus, Poppy, Master Yi, and Jax. If players got champs like these when they first started instead of Garen and Ashe learning could be a whole lot easier. I learned spacing by playing Oriana and Zyra mid, I learned what items to build for resistances because of Poppy and Nautilus top, I know when to go in vs when to stay back because of Jax and Yi. All I "learned" from Garen is how to sit under tower and wait for my passive to heal me.

If they made champs like these the ones you get to use when you first make an account, and made it last until level 10 instead of 5 people could actually learn something. They don't have to keep the champs, just make them available when you first start so you can learn useful mechanics.

Because everyone* is on Free Rotation eventually. Also, 450 spent on a champion you might wind up hating is still wasted IP, so lots of people prefer to try before they buy.
