ARURF Extended for 4 More Weeks

Hey all you ultra-rapid-manatees! ARURF will be extended for two more patches (9.5 and 9.6) as a gift to all those who've been enjoying the game mode. Existing members of the Golden Spatula Club will get to keep their benefits throughout the next four weeks, but players will no longer be able to enter the Golden Spatula Club unless they purchased their admission before February 15, 2019. Head on over to the Patch 9.5 Notes for the latest balance changes for ARURF.

I have been talking with many friends and players. I think Riot should start a poll to make ARURF a permanent game mode. I think Odyssey should have been make permanent, but we need another mode that is permanent besides the mains. 3v3 is almost dead with 3+ min queues, ARAM is old news. I've been playing ARURF for weeks now and frankly I could play it for years to come. Look what happened with SMITE and other games? They keep all the game modes they create leaving their games with diversity. League needs this to keep things fresh.

[slayer-jinx-wink] Seriously, Nexus Blitz was the biggest hit ever......lost count of the number of friends who couldn't stand summoners and left the game because of it, but came back for Nexus Blitz and LOVED it. So many ppl would come back to league if Nexus was a permanent mode.

Both ARURF and Nexus Blitz are fun but can we let’s talk about One For All for a moment? If I’m not mistaken, the last time OFA was here was sometime in season 6. I wish it comes back once a year like any other RGM.

ARURF needs to be permanent. It was the reason I came back playing (and ended up spending some money) if it goes away, I'll lose all interest in the game...

That's awesome - it reminds me of the very first time URF was released, and it was so unexpectedly popular that they left it up for something like more than twice as long as originally planned.

Why don't we just make normals generate as much gold and exp as Urf so we can have shorter games outside of ranked? Your casual players want shorter matches.
