Hallelujah! Quite the long journey it's been, except when you look back and realize 4 months have flown by. Looking forward to my customary first-game loss with a new skin!

It was a very interesting process and development and I'm glad that Riot decided to try something new. As agonizing as it was to see the headline about voting (meaning a new skin was still months away), seeing Battlecast on the list got me pretty excited. I regrettably remain a bit bitter regarding everyone who was hating on the theme, but of course the data was provided and vindication was felt. It's not like those other skins will never be made, just not made right now, etc.

If you people are looking for feedback regarding ever doing something like this again I'd definitely offer some thoughts I have.

Ty again for this skin. I love Illaoi, I love Battlecast, I think I can forgive her rebellious ways as I smash my way to victory. For the Glorious Revo--- ahem--- Resistance!

Not gonna lie, I'm actually pretty disappointed with how this skin turned out.

First off, not a huge fan of the battlecast, and voted otherwise, but alas, somebody out there wanted this mess..

On top of that, the chromas are very lackluster -- why do nearly all of them have vibrant red tentacles instead of tentacles related to their chromas?

I'm sure they did their best; can't please everyone. Thanks Riot.

It's a cool skin and all, but honestly I don't think it lives up to the hype. For as long as you guys spent publicly patting yourselves on the back over how intricate the development process was, I was expecting a spirit-guard-udyr-level awesome skin. Huge disappointment. Maybe next time save the hype for a hype-worthy project?

I was really concerned about where this was going, "How the *!$# is allaoi going to be a battlecast?!". And the switch with it is THE BEST concept. This opens a line that would be amazing to see with a few other champs! Champs with will power to fight of change. I could see this working out. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Riot makes a vote. Riot lies about what you're voting on. While Illaoi fans were fighting with each other over getting one single skin for a champion who deserves better, Riot churned out piles of generic crap for champions who already have way too many skins.

Personally, I don't play much Illaoi, if at all, but I really enjoyed the journey of making the skin. I voted for her Adventurer skin and at first wasn't thrilled Battlecast/Resistance was the one that won but I don't play the champ much so it didn't matter to me in the end. I really like it now. I see a lot of people complaining about a lot of skins, most recently the new Miss Fortune Ultimate skin, but I really like all the skins Riot releases. I may not play every champion and I may not like every single skin but I appreciate what they do and the process the skins go through. I appreciate this skin a lot more now and if I started playing Illaoi I'd get it (or hope they make the Indiana Jones skin). I understand people being upset or not liking it but I don't think it's unfair or that Riot cheated us the way some player think they did. Overall, I appreciate everything Riot does and can't wait to see if you guys will do another skin with collaboration from the community. [sg-kiko]
