Trials Update: Week One

It’s been one week since the Mid-Season Trials began, and House United has taken the lead. Here’s the current standings:

HOUSE UNITED: 1ST

HOUSE WARBAND: 2ND

HOUSE FACELESS: 3RD

HOUSE COUNCIL: 4TH

This week will be worth more points than last week, so these standings are far from final.

You have three more weeks to get in the game. Earn points for yourself and your house through missions and MSI watch rewards until June 2, 2019, at 11:59 PM PT.

Remember: Only missions that show your house icon count towards your house’s progress. Missions from the Trials Pass won’t count towards the competition, and points awarded increase each week so every house has the chance for a comeback.

At the end of the event, everyone in the winning house earns a golden house emote, in-game finisher animation, and icon.

I only wish we could see the trackers so we could know how close it was. Somehow I have this nagging feeling that we only won by a hair. But this is fun so let's keep working hard. Hopefully everyone just continues to have fun. :D <3

It makes sense, The Council gets to their preferred ranked in the shortest amount of games. We don't need to grind, we're too smart for that.

The only thing I dont like about these kind of events is we loose the special stuff we unlock. Like the finishers and and Ceremony.

It would be pretty interesting to see which House had more prominence depending on the elo. Maybe Plats are more leaning towards House United or Golds are more often choosing House Warband etc. [sg-ezreal]

Honestly I see more Silvers in United and more Plats in Warband. which would make more sense considering the majority of players are in silver/gold but people in plat play a lot, typically. The standings reflect that.

Also the elo mentality reflects that, more plats are cocky and want to hyper carry which is Warband's M.O

Thats actually really accurate. I'm currently plat (ended there last season as well after climbing from silver) and the mentality difference is really staggering. Plat has a huge ego (myself included as a Yas OT) and everyone approaches the game with the idea of carrying individually. Gold was much more team oriented. The best way to describe plat is Diamond mechanics + middle school mentality.

EDIT: In defense of plat players though, a lot of gold games at least for me, came down to my individual performance in clutch situations. Thats what determined if I could climb or not. If thats the same for everyone, then getting to plat conditions you to be the hero of the game. At the same time, that philosophy also makes you very arrogant and entitled.
