End of game gifting is here!

Man, I barely spend them on my friends, fuck strangers.

One of the first skins I ever received was from a stranger after a normal game that I played well. The guy added me, gifted me, and disappeared. I'm sure it happens.

When my brother started playing league less than a year ago, he got a random friend invite from a guy that took a liking to him (what he liked about my brother, I'll never know XD) This said friend went on and bought my brother not just the champ khazix, but also the mecha zix skin, and 2 or 3 skins for other champs as well.

I was like, O.o wut?

I once had a team mate that told me it was impossible to beat top with AD Bruiser . He sent me a mystery gift after I went 8 and 0 with double Mundo's farm.

From my own experience, this actually happens.

my friend told me about his match that got him out of bronze. he had this zed mid and yasuo top who said they were duo q diamond smurfs, and naturally he didn't believe them. the other 2 players went afk and he was ready to ff but they said "naw man, we told you were are plat smurfs. just don't feed and we'll carry this". they proceeded to 2v5 the game, all the while all chatting "we're getting this poor scrub to silver". they won, and he was only able to gift 1 because the other never accepted his friend request.

It seems to me that this would be a great feature for streamers who want to have giveaways as part of a play-with-viewers game. They could pick an MVP or just give something to all their teammates.

One time a random solo Q guy gave me a 10 dollar RP code.

I was playing as Hecarim without a skin, and I jokingly said if I carry someone should give me a Hec skin. This guy tells me he will give me a code for Headless Hec. I end up carrying, but the guy says he can't find the code and he feels really bad, and that in 2 days he will buy me RP from the store, and yup., he actually did it.

There are people who participate in tournaments and win excessive amounts of RP. At one point in time, I had 10k RP that I didn't spend a single dollar on, and would have happily gifted somebody that had a good attitude and played well on my team, because the 500 RP meant nothing to me.

I posted several months ago that I was frustrated that I had to wait 2 weeks before gifting someone who played exceptionally well in solo queue. As someone that's not naturally talented at the game and has to struggle to work my way out of the bowels of the ELO system, it's refreshing when a player has a great attitude, focuses objectives, and uses teamwork (rather than someone telling me to f*** myself when I ask them to buy boots 35 minutes into the game). I'd like to reward that type of play and I know that positive reinforcement is more effective than a reporting/punishing system.

It's the feature she deserved, but not the one she needed.

well, I had an xpeke in a normals match not too long ago. I was top swain, and my brother was jungle vi. 57 min later, I engage a 4v5 and let my brother xpeke for the win. XD it was awesome.

Really?!? Kind of a pathetic plea. What you're saying is I suck so let me win. And you think that would work? That's so sad...

gifting is about giving, not receiving

If you don't have the money for it, don't buy it. Problem solved.

Some people don't have enough to get themselves good skins, and others do. As of right now I have 122 skins. I currently own 4/16 1820RP skins (4/12 if you only include champions owned), most of my skins are 975 skins, and I own every skin for about half a dozen champions. I don't really need anymore skins, in fact most of the time nowadays I buy skins for whichever ADC my friend lanes as with me.

If you and me kick butt in botlane and you're playing Vayne without a skin you can expect that next game you'll be kicking A with a new skin on your Vayne.

Skins are fun, imo, and I enjoyed playing with you. I have the extra money, and you're right some people don't. If you're making this game enjoyable for me I always have RP at the end of the game (in case I'm playing a champion and realize I want a specific skin for them while in champ select) and I have no problem throwing a gift your way.

I'd like to claim I'm right in the mind, I just have a different situation than you and so the money isn't a big deal to me.

Well... gifts are post game... so if someone said that I would be like "Ok, fine, I will gift you something" And then just not do it...

I disagree. I'm not someone who is made of money, but if someone in the game I played in carried or was a great lane partner, I wouldn't be totally against gifting them a mystery skin or something. It's all about perspective, some people are simply just more lenient with their RP than others.
