Poppy is the real demon. People live to tell the tales of Teemo... not with poppy.... she never dies

Not gonna lie, saw Lollipoppy and had a gigglefit.

Innext23 votes

Why isn't Teemo in the Demon pack? Teemo summoner 14

Thunderbird3306 votes

That's a good question...but which skin would they use, all of them?

Innext2 votes

Of course! :P

D Spayre10 votes

None, just the Teemo champ in the demon bundle. I think that would be the joke.

Diinasty3 votes

he is Satan, he rules the demons so that's why he isn't in the bundle

PhoenixOfHeaven6 votes

Simple. Those are DISCOUNT Demons. Teemo is a real Demon. Also explains why Shaco(The Demon Jester) isn't on the list.

You should have never written 'should of' as this should never be written, said, or thought.

I care about grammar, Mr. Panda16.

AGamerSinceAtari18 votes

"should of" not 'should of'.

The apostrophe ( ’ or ' ) is a punctuation mark, and sometimes a diacritical mark, in languages that use the Latin alphabet or certain other alphabets. In English, it serves three purposes:[1] The marking of the omission of one or more letters (as in the contraction of do not to don't). The marking of possessive case (as in the eagle's feathers, or in one month's time). The marking by some as plural of written items that are not words established in English orthography (as in P's and Q's).....

In English writing, quotation marks are placed in pairs around a word or phrase to indicate: Quotation or direct speech: Carol said "go ahead" when I asked her if the launcher was ready. Mention in another work of a title of a short or subsidiary work, like a chapter or episode: "Encounter at Far point" was the pilot episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Scare quotes used to mean "so-called" or to express irony: Your "car" doesn't actually have any wheels.

.. Correcting grammar while using incorrect grammar op.

Actually, the apostrophe in American English is also used as a substitute for single quotation marks for quoting in the middle of quoted text. For example, "So he said, 'You should have never written 'should of' as this should never be written, said or thought.'"

In British English, this is reversed! They use single quotation marks to denote regular speech or independent quotes, and double quotation marks for quoting in quoted text!

Judging by this, it's safe to assume that Gathrl is accustomed to British English.

In your first line, your period should be within the apostrophes.

I could be that guy and point out the fact that an ellipsis is three dots, not two or five...but I'd hate to be that guy...

{quoted}

I could be that guy and point out the fact that an ellipsis is three dots, not two or five...but I'd hate to be that guy...

Ellipsis (plural ellipses; from the Ancient Greek: ἔλλειψις, élleipsis, "omission" or "falling short") is a series of dots (typically three, such as "…") that usually indicates an intentional omission of a word, sentence, or whole section from a text without altering its original meaning.[1] Depending on their context and placement in a sentence, ellipses can also indicate an unfinished thought, a leading statement, a slight pause, a mysterious, echoing voice, or a nervous or awkward silence. Aposiopesis is the use of an ellipsis to trail off into silence—for example: "But I thought he was . . ." When placed at the beginning or end of a sentence, the ellipsis can also inspire a feeling of melancholy or longing.

The most common form of an ellipsis is a row of three periods or full stops (. . .) or a precomposed triple-dot glyph (…). The usage of the em dash (—) can overlap the usage of the ellipsis, especially in dialogue. Style guides often have their own rules governing the use of ellipses. For example, the Chicago Manual of Style recommends that an ellipsis be formed by typing three periods, each with a space on both sides.

HERE IS THE PART FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM

"Some believe that the use of four or more dots or simply two dots, which is often referred to as being more 'informal' instead of the well established three dots, is acceptable as an ellipsis."

Hope this makes you never want to be that guy and point out the FACT that an ellipsis is three dots, not two or five, because you may find out that it is not a FACT .... but an opinion ... and .. you are indeed wrong .. and ... that you just made an ass of yourself ..... but nice try.

Thunderbird3301 votes

Ah, so typically three dots...I genuinely did not know that. Nice to know there are other grammar cops out there too. ^_^

Thanks for letting me know!

"Protect and Sever" - Protect and Serve??

TheBeardedFool14 votes

It's intentional. That's the joke..

iGoobert4 votes

Well then can you explain it? because I dont understand and it's not a very good joke.

Backstreet Bois3 votes

Please tell me you are kidding about not understanding it. If not, Sever means to cut or divide forcibly, and is often used when describing limbs or parts of a body being removed.

Icestar11863 votes

@JangoELITE: It's a pun.

iGoobert3 votes

Oh, wow, okay thank you for explaining that. Now I feel incredibly stupid. I guess I didn't realize that was the word. For whatever reason I was saying the word "Sever" weirdly in my head and it just didn't look like a word. Now however, I see my mistake.

i hate tryhards2 votes

Protect and Serve, as in you wanna be serviceable while on duty of protection.

Protect and "Sever", is, in a way an oxymoron, because you're protecting something, but also inflicting harm but severing it.

At least thats what I guess the joke is based around.
