Chef LuBu: Professional Feeder

Riot··0 votes·39,898 views

What happens when you combine a love of the culinary arts with a passion for League? Meet Brian “OH NO ITS LU BU” Smawley, the kitchen manager and resident Video Game Chef of Battle & Brew, a game pub in Atlanta, GA. When he’s not gaming, perusing comics, debating the qualities of local beers, or starring in his own YouTube video series, Brian is cooking up video game-inspired dishes for hungry restaurant patrons.

Brian found a unique way to connect his love of cooking with his passion for League. What drives you? How do video games influence what you do? Join in and share your story here.

There should be Battle n Brews built all over the country. A havens for gamers to geek out and get fed (as in kills and awesome themed food). It would be like McDonald's except its a gaming bar.

This is like the best place to go for people who play LoL. We can eat food and play games without our moms nagging us. :^)

my mom messaged me that the video made her cry...U_U

Dude that video made me cry. I have yet to go to Battle and Brew, due to being a loner, and I am an aspiring chef who has/do felt/feel a lot like you did, so that video really got to me. Thank you.

UnrulyShoggoth3 votes

Yeah, of course. He was just kidding about that whole dying 1800 years ago thing. I definitely remember reading about how much he loved beer in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

what's your favorite thing to eat while gaming, and how do you prevent your keyboard from becoming sticky after eating?

OH NO ITS LU BU19 votes

I drink a lot of fruit smoothies. If I have to eat I generally step away from the keyboard....I think the only exception would be reese's pieces.
