Can we get some confirmation on whether or not Taric identifies as a non-straight character (gay, pansexual, bisexual, etc.)? It would be nice that since you went through all the trouble of having him act campy, vogue-ing, and making implications with his lines that you'd just fully reveal that he doesnt identify as a straight person. It would mean so much to me and others gamers who want a more enriching story as well as representation of less heteronormative characters.

Why the starlight theme? I understand giving his gems the whole "Mystical" attribute. However I honestly don't see that visually when playing him. His ult is the only "starlight" thing about him and honestly that is a stretch. As a Taric main I love the new Taric. However there is very much this sensation of Riot going "Ok, starlight gems. Cool Idea. (I agree by the way) Now How to make his abilities feel Starlighty in game? Lets just change the names of most of his abilities to have something to do with Stars." Not reading the names of his abilities I honestly don't get a starlight vibe from him.
So basically, Why Starlight and why do his ability names and ability visuals not line up in this regard?
