It would be nice that since you went through all the trouble of having him act campy, vogue-ing, and making implications with his lines that you'd just fully reveal that he doesnt identify as a straight person. It would mean so much to me and others gamers who want a more enriching story as well as representation of less heteronormative characters.

I assume straightness is the default because it is the default state of sexual identity, and a desire to protect and preserve beauty has no proven ties to sexuality at all.

His ult is the only "starlight" thing about him and honestly that is a stretch. As a Taric main I love the new Taric. However there is very much this sensation of Riot going "Ok, starlight gems. Cool Idea. (I agree by the way) Now How to make his abilities feel Starlighty in game? Lets just change the names of most of his abilities to have something to do with Stars." Not reading the names of his abilities I honestly don't get a starlight vibe from him.
So basically, Why Starlight and why do his ability names and ability visuals not line up in this regard?

? Don't get me wrong, I love his new place among the aspects as defender of all life, but using starlight to heal and protect has always been 's thing, while Earthen Gems(or space gems) has been . Soraka almost seems made to fill the starlight aspect roll (i also wouldn't mind an expansion away from her warwick-centric lore, she's a celestial entity, her story is worth more than just how she was brought low by a puny mortal).

He may be a minion mancer as his theme, but he is equal parts tanky (but full tank isn't useful), auto attack based, spell cast based, risky diver, middle distance frontliner... He has no focus, and he is the opposit of what most undead minonmancers are, which is squishy. With the rework I hope he will have a point of why we should pick him, other than "you like his theme".
