Underworld Wukong explores the darkness

The black mist grasps at Underworld Wukong, clinging to his staff as he explores the Shadow Isles. A circlet holds back his mane of wild hair to reveal gleaming emerald eyes. His bladed tail swats away a particularly annoying tendril of vapor as Wukong chuckles softly to himself. He twirls his staff and prances further into the darkness.

Traverse the abyss with Underworld Wukong available for 1350 RP (on sale for 975 RP through October 28), before going into the Legacy Vault on November 4.

Unfortunately, the splash art is infinitely more credible than the actual skin in-game. Again, that's just my opinion, but I'm just slightly disappointed.

Unfortunately, I gotta say that I am less than impressed. This skin concept is just so... plain. The staff looks like he had two different thresh lanterns that were stretched and put on each end, he isnt even really wearing anything on his torso... The leggings are cool and the left arm gauntlet looks nice, but I gotta say He just looks plain.

The axe tail thing was a huge turnoff for me. It just looks WRONG; the monkey king with an axe tail? I would have gladly accepted spikes or maybe even a barbed hook tail, but an AXE? No... stick to the staff and build on it; its his iconic weapon.

The beard looks a little silly. He's a monkey. With a beard. Think about that for a moment.

I've been waiting for a good wukong skin myself, but this simply isnt it. I am dissapointed.

2/10 would not buy.

For those of you confused it states the skin is on sale for 975 till 10/28/14. Then it goes to its normal 1350 price until 11/4/14. After that you will likely have to wait a full year before it becomes available again.

My question is...for a 1350RP, why Wukong? For most 1350 champions, a lot of things are changed and you get all these awesome new particles, etc.

But Wukong has like nothing to work with. What makes this a 1350 RP skin?

When will Underworld Wukong be available again? I started playing League of Legends earlier this year and I main Wukong, I'd love to have this skin.
