I'm kinda sad that Riot Games isn't making event game modes anymore. Odyssey was basically the last of the good Riot event era. And I’m afraid Riot is either getting more lazy with their work and trying to find loopholes, or they are slowly losing money. In a general and honest aspect, call me crazy, or dumb but I feel as though league isn't at its peak yet, and that it is still in its potential phase. If Riot Games just understood the concept of trying to lessen tensions, or toxicity in this community, people would be more devoted to this game, giving people a better incentive to spend on this game. Its all connected whether you like it or not.

They are flourishing, IMO. Total play time hasn't decreased as far as I'm aware, their e-sports venture has become increasingly successful, and I think the game itself is better than it was when I started playing five years ago.

Obviously, there are things they could be doing better better. I'm still upset that they're removing Twisted Treeline, for example. At the same time, I don't think the cynicism that seems to work its way to the top of most of the comments sections is justified.

yes because its not popular like ARAM and SR, claiming they made attempts to change it to make it more exciting, but really never really did anything with it directly after they changed the map to a bland stripped down version of its former self back way when in, what season 3 or 4 I think?

It has been on life support for years, the playerbase in most regions is pathetically tiny and balance is questionable.

It is sad, but i understand why they are doing it. Hopefully a more modern 3v3/small map will appear at some point.

of course its better than what it was 5 years ago. But from 2017-2019 it hit a high and a low. And u can even see it. They aren't flourishing especially when it comes to the communication between game developers and community. And this cynicism is correct considering how we all know how balanced morde was. This is a top humble down honest comment. Also they did listen to me and others out cries. Just look at the over view

Business-wise they are doing just fine, twitch viewership is not a measure of playerbase or profits (it is hugely flavor of the month and kneejerk, whatever new thing the big streamers target dominos down the ecosystem and dominates streaming for a given month).

Hopefully they will reverse their slide into being less communicative and customer-friendly before it does any lasting harm.

I don’t care how many dislikes I get. Someone has to speak out about it, and the controversies. I have a small amount of hope for this game, just enough to keep me playing. Not sure if it will last though.

Totally agreeable. If Riot had the same “mentality” as they use to have, I’m sure they would be making a lot more than what they are now. Events use to be special, a time where everyone, whether f2p, or a money whale could enjoy themselves. Special and limited game modes that had unique co-op really gave it the taste that most of us know and love. Judging by how they are adding eternals to the game, they must be getting very lazy.

Zoe's a villain as it stands in the lore already, she's the one that tricked the rest of the Shuriman God-Warriors following Icathia, leading to the Darkkin. She's the Trickster after all.

Firstly, that was a previous Aspect of Twilight, not Zoe specifically (her name was Myisha). Secondly, it's a stretch to call her the villain, since the Aspects are all about maintaining order and are chaotic neutral at worst. The Shuriman god-warriors/Darkin were quite literally rampaging unchecked across Runeterra. If she hadn't tricked them and taught the "resistance" how to seal them inside their weapons, before long there wouldn't have been a world left to save. If anything, she's the unlikely hero of that story.

Oh, I missed that, that's TINY. This round of star guardians don't make sense colour-wise, anyway, the only one that's obvious is Zoe is purple

look's like they really dont care too much about what we want/would like. they are falling into the money pit and will start to destroy themselfs and lose everything they worked for if they continue to just not care about what the people that play their game want.

i wonder if the zoe skin will fix the fact she can ult out of a blitz pull when shes grabbed pretty sure u cant ult in a blitz pull

Technically there are plenty of ways to get out of a Blitz pull. It all depends on the timing of the casting. Trist can jump out, Ez can tp out, Neeko can ult out. Whether or not they intended for Neeko to be able to get out or not is the real question; but knowing Riot, they gave their new little champ more OP than anyone really realized.

very happy that Zoe is getting a new quality skin, pool party just didn't do it for me. I hope riot brings back game modes, those were truly fun. How sad to think that this game has become soo centered around skins and nerfing akali over and over. Step it up riot and stop over-loading new champions. As a matter of fact, stop making new champions and fix the current ones.

it's all about that quick cash grab now, League is going down the path of EA and other game company. You can see it through all the Little Legends releasing patch after patch =)))). You cant even choose which Little Legends you wanna buy, you have to roll them randomly until you get the one you want, this is the same reason why i support the banned on lootboxes. Prestige skins are just laughable =))). I got friends who have full skins and got tons of rare purple gems sitting around unable to use them for anything, cant even craft gems into prestige points or vice versa. A bunch of orange essence are also useless. At least the blue essence got SOME use when the blue essence shop open lol. Riot need to allow players to craft more stuffs from these left over materials. Purple gems and prestige points are so hard to come by, people who have excess of 1 type should be able to exchange them for the other or craft things like little legends' eggs perhaps.
