Jungle icons invade the store

Baron? Dragon? Sure, those dudes are big and brutal. But what about the unsung heroes of the jungle? Those silent sleepers who, if underestimated, will break any jungler foolish enough to step on their doormat with low health and no Smite? We’re talking jungle monsters: Murkwolves, Raptors, Krugs, and the dreaded Rift Scuttler.

They may not be as flashy or valuable as their bigger bros, but we’ll be damned if they’re not at least kind-of-pretty-big-deals sometimes. So when the chips are down, and it’s time to let your jungle flag fly, pick up a new jungle monster icon (250 RP each) and (metaphorically) raise a glass for the little guys.

No shopkeeper icon? The monsters give us the buffs and the gold but the shopkeeper is the reason we thrive and evolve in battle and yet he is the one who has been forgotten.

Riot why not make those RP/IP available. 5k or 6k even 10k IP.

You're alone in the river, don't have your flash. Out of the corner of your eye you spot him. Scuttlecrab. He's following you, about 30 feet back. He's on all fours, and moving kinda slow. Scuttlecrab. You're looking for your lane, but you're all turned around. He's almost to the end of his path. There's wards all around him. There's vision everywhere! 
Running for your life from Scuttlecrab. Lurking in the river, killing for sport. Scuttlecrab. Drowning all his victims. Scuttlecrab. Now the wards have expired, and you think that you've lost him. Hiding in a bush, looking for a gank. Aha! In the distance, a ping! Hope! You creep towards it, but your leg! It's caught in a Caitlyn trap! 
Now you are free, and headed to gank. But you're in the river. Sitting there waiting, Scuttlecrab. He doesn't see you coming, you're sneaking up on him. Using CC on Scuttlecrab! Now his armor is low, and he can't escape. Smite to the face! You've done it! You've beaten legendary monster Scuttlecrab.

If the icons were to be purchased with Rp then make it worth it, like with the poro icons when "The Poro King" mode was added to the Howling Abyss map and depending on which icon you had you got a pair of poros that looked like the ones in the icons. What I'm getting at is, I believe it would be cool to have a miniature version of the jungle monster from each respective icon to follow the player's champion around for a neat little in game visual fun and each monster could have it's own dance or taunt. What else you can do with the miniature monsters is up to Riot but personally i think that would make the need of 250Rp for the icons worth it and i know 250Rp isn't really that much but for an icon that will simply be left unused once a newer one comes out is just a waist.

What happened to more ways to spend the huge amounts of IP people are accruing? These are good quality that I expect from Riot because lets be honest your art team is of Blizzard quality at this point, but that doesnt mean you should just charge for pictures.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't metaphorically used incorrectly in that last sentence. Shouldn't it say something like this "... pick up a new jungle monster icon (250 RP each), and (figuratively speaking) raise a glass for the little guys."

I hate being the grammar police (again correct me if I'm wrong), but shouldn't Riot have people catching mistakes like this. Although, there is the chance I'm wrong, and I'll look stupid.

Two points: The only reason these aren't IP-purchaseable is that the Gromp icon isn't either. And there really was no reason for that; I'd buy these all in a heartbeat for IP.
