Riot Forge™ Announces First Two Games

Hey folks!

We’re super excited to have just announced Riot Forge last week, and even more excited to share the teaser for our first two games, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story!

ICYMI, Riot Forge is a new player- and developer-focused publisher and we’re partnering with talented 3rd party developers to bring you awesome, bespoke “completable” League games. You can learn more about what we’re up to at www.riotforgegames.com.

We’ve partnered with Airship Syndicate to develop our first game, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, which is a single player story-driven, turn-based RPG. Watch the teaser for it which aired during The Game Awards! It’s set after the events of Burning Tides and we can’t wait for players to finally be able to truly immerse themselves and explore the bustling city of Bilgewater and the mysterious Shadow Isles in a game for the first time. It’s coming to consoles and PC and we’ll share more in 2020 but in the meantime visit www.ruinedking.com to make sure you have the latest info.

For our second title, CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story, we’re working with Double Stallion Games. You can also watch the teaser which aired during The Game Awards as well. This will be a single player action platformer starring Ekko! The team at Double Stallion has an amazing take on Zaun and we can’t wait for you to experience it. It’s also coming to consoles and PC. I'm excited to hear about a turn based game from riot, I can't wait to see the astonishingly fleshed out lore from league get a great medium like single player games.

How about you balance your only game, fix matchmaking, etc. these games are gonna be more trash than what LoL has become.

League of legends concept came from Dota, on WC3! League is great. League should make a game styled after RISK on WC3!!!! It is my dream make it a reality riot!!!!!

I hope the RPG has Final Fantasy 10's or the SNES~PS1 FF's era (aka ATB) turn system.

I'm so confused that Ekko's ability is just to make only himself travel back to the past not any other objects, so why all the animations or stories of Ekko are showing how he makes the other people/objects travel back to the past. [sg-lux-2] [slayer-jinx-unamused]

Single-player games? Did you fire all of your employees who all were working on your network tasks?

Well, based on the game's state, space really needed for the balancing team. Now, they should actually start working after years of days off.

Turn based sounds fun but imagine a league based assassins creed/god of war type game, third person action singe player game would be an instant buy from me. Of course would take awhile to make and they already have lots of other games there working on but thought of it is cool.
