In April, we hosted our first API Challenge not knowing what to expect from the developer community. It’s safe to say we were blown away by the submissions we received. Our last winner, microtony (NA), broke down the differences between URF games and Normal games with his submission; URF Play Styles. We’re back again with another API Challenge, and we can’t wait to see what developers create this time!

I LOVE URF. However, if it was available 24 7, then nobody would play norms for a few weeks. After that it would get boring and riot would stop making money from it, its all about the money Clairvoyance

Your logic contradicts itself. If it got boring really quick...then people would be back on normals. I don't think there should be URF 24/7 myself, but there should be a Featured Game Mode 24/7. They have enough to start rotating them out now.

i agree. i like playing on rift with out the day to day "meta". want to go top with Janna, why not its URF no worries. thats what i miss about it.

URF is literally the anti-tilt, when URF was available and I was losing in ranked, I just play a few games of URF, and then go back to ranked refreshed and happy.

Dear Riot,

Aram was started by us in custom games. You eventually saw a pattern and decided to act upon the fact we needed the game-mode 'aram' I think it is time that you added in U.R.F (Ultra Rapid Fire) just add it to customs. I mean come on, everyone loved that game-mode the most why make us wait all year just to play it? It's a great stress reliever and made League of Legends more enjoyable! I think I speak for all players on this forum when I say that U.R.F needs to be brought back!

P.S just add it to customs and I will be the most happy player ever! :)

At least make URF available in custom games if not in normals. I think that should be the way for all gamemodes for a bit after they leave...

Make a rotation of all gamemodes ever created maybe? Everyday it changed and you can add on the new gamemodes to the list without worrying about putting back the old gamemodes.( I care i am bad in english)

Thats a good idea, not every day though, like one featured game mode per week would be good. It could change when the ftp champs changed and they could keep a rotation schedule posted. this way we can URF out every other month or so and there's always something different to try. Dominion is rarely played by "real" people, they could place it as a featured game mode and keep it in rotation, then it might get played a little more when its on rotation. or well, i guess if it rotated every week, it'd have to patch every week. They could rotate every patch then for featured game modes

definatly downvoted, the suggestion of puttin URF on forever is fine, but why suggest the removal of ARAM? were u dropped on ur head? its the most popular available game mode, why not remove TT? but u suggest ARAM removal? tsk tsk

ARAM is what got me to play league. Before ARAM was available I never wanted to play league. Then it came out and my roommate convinced me to play. Now I can't stop playing league and even enjoy normals/ranked. It helps you learn all the champions and how to team fight.

To suggest removing it for URF, you make me sad sir. Dominion I'll accept but be a little sad about because its fun once in a while but not ARAM.
