Rotating game mode queue now live!

From the original clone-tastic One For All to the sand-strewn battlefield of Ascension, rotating game modes provide unique spins on the classic League formula. It’s time to kick things off with the next game mode in the rotation: Hexakill: Twisted Treeline is now live!

For a refresher on the mode, let’s go over the basics:

  • It’s Twisted Treeline, so there are altars to capture and a nexus to explodify.
  • It’s Hexakill. So there are six champs on your team instead of three.

As in any rotating queue game mode, we’ve specially tuned Champion Mastery so you can earn points in the mode. You’ll also be able to earn keys for your wins and loot chests for your (or your premade’s) S­-, S, and S+ games.

Hexakill: Twisted Treeline is now available and lasts through the evening on Sunday (we’ll shut it down very early Monday morning--usually between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM).

We’ll be trying out different things with the rotating game mode queue over the next few months, such as potentially turning it on longer depending on how popular it is, changing the mode cadence or what modes are available. We’re looking for your feedback as we go, so let us know. GLHF, and we’ll bring a sixth man alongside you in the Twisted Treeline this weekend.

Is there anyway we can get Hexakill on SR instead of TT?

Can we please get black market brawlers or doom bots? I'm getting sick of the same 4 gamemodes.(Not counting Hexakill because I dont play it; if it was on Summoners Rift then maybe)

The only ones I enjoy is URF, and One for All... The other ones are just lame.

I had a feeling it was Hexakill, uggh.

Real question, what is the appeal of HExakill? It's literally just a regular game with 1 extra person on both sides. To most people, this is the only time people play twisted treeline so is that part of the appeal, too?)

It just feels like a normal game with nothing cool added to it. But now u can get a hexakill!!

I am not trying to hate, I just really want to understand the appeal of this mode.

What happened to urf? it was originally going to be on the weekend of 7/1 -7/3 On surrender @20 it said that a few days ago. Now its different. Are you doing something to urf rito?

hexakill is my least favorite as well and I truly believe that we should be doing one for all more because it is more fun but nothing is as fun as ultra rapid fire. Urf is just amazing in my opinion but I do understand why we can't play urf very often

I would love it if there was a consistent page I could look at that would tell me what the RGM schedule is. Googling for it gives me a backlog of pages with the same title and no way to cycle forward to today.

Wasn't there a game mode where you picked the enemy's team? With URF, doom bots,the black market brawlers.There should be a little more variety. Sounds like including just changing the map location, they got 8 or more alternative game modes so having the same one crop up so fast seems weird

Ugh hexakill so boring they should put it on aram I think I speak for most of us when I say we want nemesis draft we butcher bridge and black market brawlers with gp announcer voice it was the some of the best game modes pls change up the schedule the game modes are starting to get boring that they are constantly repeating like this

I like hexakill personally also in one of the ask riots they talked about doombots they are working on it. Although hexakill twice in the same month is not the best idea game modes should be spread out. Also hexakill on sr is just one more champion vs three more on tt. I think that is a little more fun.
