A Corporate Matter: Episode 39

Draven "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the 5th annual End Of Season games. It is I, your host, Primetime Draven."

Soraka "So, explain these games to me again, sir."

Gnar "Well, at the end of each ranked season, our company hosts an event. To celebrate all the hard work. There are all kinds of different competitions, mostly physical based. I hate everything about it."

Soraka "So, why are you entered in it?"

Gnar "Well, if you finish in one of the top places, you get a limited edition medal. And man do those things sell for a ton."

Soraka "Figures, you would find a way to turn everything great about a celebration into a profit. What event are you trying to win so you can sell the trophy?"

Gnar "The Leagueathlon. It involves three parts, first you need to get 100 cs, then catch an escaping champion. Which I think is odd, because we are taught not to chase, but whatever. Finally, you need to test your juking skills by making it to the finish line while being shot at constantly."

Draven "It appears the Leagueathlon is about to start. Let's go and see them get some cs. I still fail to see the point of getting cs unless it results in more gold from kills. Like I do, in the League Of Draven."

MissFortune "Alright boys, I want a good clean game. No ganks below the belt. When I fire shock, the game's on. Ready, set, BANG!"

Draven** "Unlike previous games, you will not be allowed to buy items. It all comes from some scandal with the Shopkeeper stealing Shyvana's money. She says that she tried to purchase a Ravenous Hydra, but after paying for it, she was denied any item. She fell for it twice before reporting it to the authorities. His job is pending further investigations, he denies it all of course. It's quite scandalous."**

Graves "How in tarnation are we supposed to out cs a Zed."

Zed "MUHAHAHAHAHA"

KogMaw "95, 96, 97. Almost there, just a few more. Ow! Why do these minions hurt so mu-"

Draven "Welp, looks like Gentleman Kog'Maw is out of the running. Hang on, I am being told that he was able to pick up the last cs he needed using his passive. I always knew that thing was overpowered."

Gnar "Got it, now it's time to chase my champion. Who is it?"

Teemo "It's me, Omega Squad Teemo, here to ruin your day again."

Gnar "Oh good, I got someone squishy. Here I come, you little-" "Boom!"

Teemo "I own this land."

Gnar "You can place Landmines? HEY REF, IS HE ALLOWED TO DO THAT?"

MissFortune "WHAT? I'M EATING HERE, I DON'T KNOW."

Gnar "Man, you are worse than the refs in the Packers vs Lions game."

Zed "I have to chase, singed? That goes against everything I have been taught. It's breaking League rule number 2."

Singed "Ha ha ha!"

Zed "That's it, you are not getting away from me. I will hunt you, "cough cough" I will, AHHHHHHHHHHHH, IT BURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!" "You have been slain."

Draven "Brutal! Did you see his face melt like that? I prefer to chunk an enemy for 75% of their health, but a slow poison death seems to be pretty effective as well."

Graves "Nope, there is no chasing a Garen, I give up."

Garen "Look at me, I'm holding the world up. I could do this for hours."

Graves "Darn you, Garen. I will show you, I'm getting my New Destiny. Won't be taunting me when I shove thirty bullets up your face in less than three seconds."

Gnar "Got Teemo, now I just need to make it to the finish."

Draven "For this run, we wanted to give them an, Ezreal challenge."

Gnar "Ahhhh, so many skill shots! What, did they get every Ezreal in existence to come?"

Draven "Riven has crossed the finish line first. This was a completely unexpected outcome. As Riven is a very fair and balanced champion. Also, Death's Dance on her is not the most broken thing ever. Alright, I think I convinced them. But why don't you guys just nerf Riven instead of making me convince people she is fair? Ah, I see, way to make a quick buck."

Gnar "Alright, I'm gonna do it. Nine people crossed the finish before me, but I only need to get tenth place. And no one is close to me."

Volibear "BUT I'M COMING FOR YOU!!!"

Gnar "VOLI, PLEASE NO!"

Volibear "OH YEAH!"

Gnar "I WANT MY MEDAL!"

KogMaw "Wow, I can't believe I managed to get one of these, they are so cool. Everyone is going to be so jealous. And I get to be free, best, week, EVER!"

Draven "That marks the end of our games. Everyone seems so happy and glad to have been a part of this event."
