Always say no to surrender vote even if there on your nexus! Never stay in fountain if there on your nexus get out there and try! Make sure every spell and item u have is on cool down! Or this game isn't for you.
I've had games, and I kid you not, where our nexus was a hit away and my team had none of their towers down and we rushed out of the respawn base, chase the enemy team away and turn the game around from there. I've won like this on ARAM and Rift so no, I never surrender no matter how grim it looks

I agree with Mel. I just never surrender a game, save maybe the very rare once in a blue moon. I really enjoy playing the game and I want to do just that.
If you have a Teemo, for Christ's sake if you don't surrender, somethingz wrong with you.

Yeah lets force players to play with feeders and AFKs a minimum of 20 minutes of their life for less EXP and IP when they lose regardless if they played well all the way to the end. Luckily for us there are plenty anti-afks third party programs. Oh and #overpricedchromapaidmods. Wonder what will Riot's next big step will be? >.<

Maybe when its a blind pick game and you know you wont make the comeback because of how salty your teammates are, or how they're refusing to work together. Then i would say you should surrender so you can move on to a better or at least more balanced game. However you should NEVER surrender in a ranked game. In ranked you can never surrender because any game can get a huge turn around either with a stolen baron or an unforeseen pentakill. You just cannot know how quickly the tides will turn.

On SR, no surrender. IN ARAM, I say surrender if it is just crap. That being said, realize that just because you are down early, look at your team potential for the later game.
My team runs in, get destroyed by the other team, i start a ff vote, 3/5 people say yes, the 2 people that said no, decide to ff when our last nexus turret is destroyed, therefore i wasted 2 hours of my life with a terrible team, bm enemies, and 70 ip -_-
I surrender if there is no chance of winning, or if my r=team is raging and refusing to cooperate. Although no one else ever agrees sooo yeh

Anyone who thinks that clearly has never had to play at a gold level or below. Getting held captive in every other game by a bunch of kids that play to lose is just awesome.

The only time I ever surrender is if my "teammates" are so toxic or negative that there is NO fun at all. insults fly, everyone blames each other, and there is no "winning" because all anyone does is argue and die and then argue about dying. :(
The only time I might agree to a surrender is if I am playing a normal with friends and they would not have time to play another if I don't. Other than that? Not surrendering, not a chance.
I've won games simply because enemy team decided to taunt how hard they were beating us my not finishing nexus.
Which got us to late game and we ended up steamrolling them to victory.
Giving up just because you're losing is poor sportsmanship.
If someone is AFK in a game or the team is just terrible just because they are unskilled, lagging etc. then you should surrender because like what he said, it is a waste of time
Every time I want to let the enemy win when they are hitting the nexus, I always remember my old Soraka game (before her update). I was support Raka, with maybe 30 or 40 ap, pure support items, and the whole team was dead. All 5 enemies were beginning to hit the Nexus towers, but I came out swinging and managed to get a panta kill, then once my team spawned we pushed down lane and won the game before the enemies respawned. By far my favorite league game I've played.

um... yeah... yeah you should.... get the games with trolls over with. The point of league is to have fun. Games with trolls are not fun.
Towers don't fall by themselves. If the enemy wants to see my nexus explode, they have to work for it!
Personally, I'm against surrendering in most any occasion because I believe in the idea you can turn some games around by working with your team and giving your all to it. However I cannot abide continuing any game where a champion such as Master Yi or Rengar (just basic examples, though there are others who fit this mentality) gets so many kills in the early game until they are not being fed they are now self-sufficient.
When it gets to the point the enemy waits several minutes just to get one guy with their whole team,especially when they could have finished out a while back, then those people are just trying to be rude and basically bully your team you're all weaker than them. "Such heroic nonsense." Is what they're thinking of you fighting at that point. Don't give those "decepti-creeps" the satisfaction of an actual win.
Never surrender. I played a game last night where my team was being steamrolled, however, I started building armor pen against the enemy's super tanky team and began causing chaos in our base. The enemy team was unable to pick anyone off and my team kept farming and picking off Champs that wandered too far off. After an hour and four minutes, we came out of top.
