What about people who own every Champion and are level 30? Just a 4 win IP boost seems pretty useless. Would have been awesome if someone who owned all of them could receive a mystery skin or something.

I know it is supposed to be a Starter Bundle, but why do new accounts want to link with Amazon more than older ones? They should be promoting linking accounts for everyone and not just new players.

first of all i just need to get my bitchyness out of the way and say "be happy with a completely free ip boost you ungrateful f**k" now that that is out of the way for today you have to keep in mind that after a certain point you should already own most of the cheap champions so getting those for free really isn't that big of a deal. I mean all those champion are super cheap and if you already own some of them it really isn't a big deal that others are getting them for free. There are a ton of people in league who have all the champs and whatnot. But there are also a ton of people who aren't level 30 yet. You notice how most special game modes and ranked require you to be level 20-30? well that is for you. New players don't get that. This is for new players and those of us who can't be bothered to buy the 450 champs because we dislike them. High level players get free game modes on occasion. Low level players get the rare boost or free champ. If you are in the middle like me you get a couple champs you never bought and a nice little ip boost. So it isn't any more unfair to long time players than free game modes are to new players. (sorry about the bitchyness, got to be rude at least once a day, new years resolution or some shit like that)

Uh... no need to be rude. Justifying your rudeness to yourself doesn't make it acceptable.

And I never said there shouldn't be a Starter Pack -- I'm saying that for those who own everything they should just give a mystery skin instead. That way it would appeal to both new players and old players.

Yes but old players already get a lot more options and have gotten to experience a lot more events than new players. Therefore it is completely fair to give new players something special as well. Is it fair that only people lv 25 (I think) and higher got to play urf? Not really. Does giving those new players something special to make up for it fair? Yes. You got a free ip boost. if you already own a munch of super cheap champs that you could buy after playing the game for a week you don't have any reason to complain. They really should't give you a mystery skin instead because most players would rather have a mystery skin than a couple cheap champs. Everyone gets the ip boost. If you have a ton of ip buy more rune pages or change your name. There is no reason whatsoever that you should get something special simply because you have been playing the game for a longer period of time. And I am saying this when all I got was 3 cheap champs that I wouldn't ever bother to buy on my own.

It's to help newer players only. All it does is save them TIME. They get a bunch of cheap IP champions, and an exp/IP boost. Just had a friend start the game, it actually is quite a grind to get to lvl 30. Then you have to buy runes/champs. This just makes life easier to start out with

What you want is free $$$. For us older players, we get IP boost. If you don't need that, well Riot we don't need free hand outs then. In the end, Riot isn't losing any money by helping newer players, but same time they are being nice.
